Your internal battery is dead.
Better change it.

Like internal battery on PC's motherboard. It's a tiny battery located on mobile's PCB.

I'm not 100% sure.
But I have had this problem before on my E680i.
Currently my V3x has this problem too.

If you leave your mobile without battery for a few seconds, it's ok.
But if you leave if for a longer period, your time will be reset.

Yes thats true, our mobile comes with a little battery located in the mainboard, you have to change it and everything will come back as before...
