Stock E6 firmware, anyone??

I have a China Mobile branded E6 and I am getting attached to the phone (Better than a K-Jam)
I have sorted a lot of things out on it but there is still a lot of Chinese content on it.
I bought it in China for its English-Chinese translator as I go to China a lot. Now I need to know
if there is a unbranded firmware available and will I lose the translator?

Erm.... I had a look in the monster pack section and saw there are some there for a E6.
Which on is the best and do any of them enable EDGE! Does a E6 support EDGE?
Will flashing the phone make me lose the translator??

Enquiring minds want to know.

As far as I know the E6e firmwares are with EDGE enabled. Someone may correct me if I am wrong

Evertime I connect with the E2 a little E icon pops up next to the signal strength bar. so I know it has edge, Download speed from
E2mod.com is usually 20 kps. With the E6 it avarages 7 kps. That is the same speed my E398 can muster. Hense I suspect it only has GPRS.
I have even let the phones download the same thing and the E2 downloads faster.
