E1 not accepting ROKR Monster Pack

Hi, I'm facing a strange situation here.

I have a ROKR E1 phone, that was flashed and reflashed few times.

It seems that, for some reason, the phone doesn't accept the ROKR E1 Monster Packs anymore. I tried flashing different MPs (using the ROKR specific version) and it always resulted in a dead phone (that I could revive restoring a full backup). I decided to try a E398 Monster Pack and It works perfectly.

So, I got the 'Revolution Gran Finale' (RGF) packs, they have a E398 and a ROKR version. First I tried the E398 pack, using MFF, flashed the phone and it worked OK. Later I tried the RGF ROKR version, and, after a sucess flash (no errors) the phone was dead again (just a noise short noise is heard when trying to turn it on). It seems that my ROKR thinks it is a E398 phone .

My phone bootloader is: 07d0.
Current version (provided by RGF E398 MP) R373_G_0E.30.49R

What I can do to correct this and make it accept the ROKR specific MP again?

Your bootloader is 07.DO
so you only can flash MP for E398 only.

Yeah, maybe your ROKR have to downgraded bootloader. (0A.02  -->  07.D0)

I remember downgrading it at some point. Do you believe a bootloader upgrade should enable me to upload E1 MPs on it?

Any recommended procedure?

my suggestion, you just need to stay in current BL.
there is many good MP on this forum, you can choose one suit for you

That's right. I just discovered that is possible to take any ROKR specific MP and apply a patch to install it on a e398. I'm using FlashBackup 3.07 and it has these nice feature.
