how is the heat from the Turion?
I am recently ATI/AMD fan (I was lifetime intel user before), but I bought a notebook with C2D because I heard the older Turions are too hot...

mine is amd turion 64 x2...i dont see much different with intel in heat. amd is the best competitor for intel, so i think they are not bad. the big different, amd is cheaper than intel and i think amd consume more battery then intel, cmiiw

Nope, not at all, you can read it's review in http://expertester.wordpress.com/2008/07/18/acer-aspire-4530/my friend use this one, and he's happily playing COD 4, and i found no unrealistic heat at all, but sure that's my opinion, you should check the link yourself

hahha, i don't really can give any opinion, since i didn't use that notebook, i just stick with my acer aspire one :'(, and since this is a moto forum, it's kinda odd to give a notebook review isn't??? well if you really got some bucks then aim for the alienware series
