JPC is an x86 PC emulator written entirely in Java.
What you need to launch:
JPC j2me
http://www-jpc.physics.ox.ac.uk/mobile/JPC.jarVMemory (to mount Swap)
Notepad + + or something similar
How to do it:
1) Install JPC on memory card
2) Run telnet on ur phone and go to: "\\192.168.16.2\sd\.system\java\DownloadApps\MIDlet*\ (* the number where JPC is installed)
3) Copy
registry.txt to ur hard drive and open it in notepad++ and find the line "
Mot-JavaVM-Heapsize:" make the value
64) Place it back to ur phone
5) Go to "\\192.168.16.2\system\ezx_user\download\appwrite\setup\"
6) Repeat step 3 but instead open ezx_system.cfg. Find the line
JavaHeapSize =. Make the value
0.
7) Use VMemory to mount Swap (something like 16 MB).
8.) Reboot the phone.
9) Launch JPC.
When the program loads, press 5 to zoom in.
The VirtualPC will boot(a bios like interface will appear just like in a normal PC)
After that "No hard disks detected" will appear.
Wait 2-3 minutes for the command prompt to load
There's a floppy disk image inside the jar so A:\>_ will appear.
Press left softkey to input characters! Hope it works for you too! I'll post my screenshots soon. It's kinda slow so dont expect too much. But its nice to play around.
