recently i bought 2gb sandisk and formated on my e1. i know it would end up 1gb.


now i format it on pc and it still says 1gb. is it normal? will it return to 2gb after i format it on 2gb-supported motorola phone?
please help

If you formated it by pc using ur mobile its normal if using card reader that supports 2gb its not normal
will it return to 2gb after i format it on 2gb-supported motorola phone?

but,after that the phone will ask you to format the card and you can only see multimedia trough corelets

  • first , i format the TF on pc -endup 2gb
  • second, i format the TF on my phone -endup 1gb
    on pc, it reads 1gb
  • third, i format the TF on V3xx-return to 2gb
    on pc reads, it reads 2gb but my phone sees unformatted.
later:
after several attempts of insertng TF
1.my phone reads the TF but only 1gb.. and some files are missing
2.PC reading, it says ~2gb
 please help

so does 2gb it work on 42r?
i am currently use 49r

Its mean, u cant see file in multimedia when u put 2Gb TF in e398.
It will alert to format the TF, but u can see the file trough Corelet.

so what will i do bro?.
yeah, it happens before but after several attempts of inserting it reads the TF without formating thru my e1 (still formatted from v3xx), it start reads and manage to browse media files but some files are missing. phone reading is 1gb.
i tried use PC reading and it reads 2gb...
please help

What do u want ...
E398 supprt 1Gb, it will work perfectly.
If  ur e398 can read 2Gb and manage to view in multimedia, thats good coz most of us cant.
U hav to accept those condition if u want to continue using 2Gb TF.

my tf is 2gb and it reads /only 1gb on phone/& /2gb on pc/. i cant use the 2gb on phone as it is coz phone reads only 1gb. when i transfer files using card reader, some files i transfered are missing when i view on phone.the PC reading is 2gb.. the same as the phone. that the hard part.

how can i use and read 2gb on phone as it is.

Dont hav any solution, never hav 2Gb TF before and not plan to.

Read this and this for others experience with 2Gb TF.
