emm... ok, in the itunes there are three plugins: my music, my image and opera mini... i pressed the menu button the virtual corelet menu shows up but no db creator unless it is called something else. i see memory info, settings, unload plugin, hide, unload, and restart. no db creator

You make a mistake, if that u say that's not iTunes but virtual corelet.
Virtual corelet is doesn't need DB creator to hear the music.
CMIIW.

open audio player in ur VC.. then open all song.. press menu,choose refresh list or update song.. cmiww

press menu again and there is an option for switching device...

i'm sorry, but i don't think this not the same problem. prove me wrong and i really hope i'm wrong.
i have checked both my phone and memory card. only ringtones would show up, NO SONGS.
