i have a friend that flashed his e398 with new MP (ROKR Conversion), the flashing is successful, but the battery invalid, why ?

try to clean pins of battery in mob and battery

unfortunately, this e398 is realy in a good shape, the pins are shining, and the battery is still new
i get this "invalid battery" status after flashed the phone into ROKR....

Ever try that phone with other battery or the battery with other compatible phone?If the phone can detect another batt,or the other phone detect the batt as invalid,the batt is broken.maybe the IC control in the batt was damaged when the phone flashed.But if the phone detect the other batt as invalid,try to reflash it.
