How do I make a backup of the netprofiles, mms, gprs, and browser settings without using telnet?

The reason I ask is because I have updated my phone's firmware and the original settings for my country (Philippines) was lost. However, I have a friend's phone with me with stock firmware and has the original settings I would like to copy. Problem is, his firmware can't connect using telnet since its stock. What do I do?

If all that fails, can't you just input the settings manually, given from your friend or even from your provider?
