I have a moded e398 so i'm not a total n00b but i just want to know and find some things before starting to mod my new rokr e6.

First i would like to know how could i install the mpkg installer.
Next steps will be the rockbox installation... dosbox etc (but for those i need mpkg)

Also i'd like to have the office 4.0 installation kit. (i found win3.1 but no office4.0) So if you have it please upload it somwhere and pm me the link or just pm the link if it's already uploaded somewhere on the internet.

I'd also like to know how could i change the swap file parameters

First, congrats for the new E6.It's a real Rokr phone after E2...^_^
Second,U can hang around at Motorolafans.there U can find all U need. For mpkg installer,U can try mine at http://www.4shared.com/file/34242923/9d956672/A1200_system.html. It is for A1200 and works great on E6 coz they use the same system and mpkg.

i've searched some other forums about my mpkg problem and i realised thet the firmware is the problem so i changed it (it was something like: 10.11.45). now i have 533_G_11_12.08P_UNICODE_DUNHILL and it works just fine.
One problem would be the rockbox. i've installed it but it just shows a black screen and after that it returns to main menu. Do you have any ideea what's the problem?
I also have a problem with the dosbox emulator. I type "mount c \mmc\mmca1\Kituri" but it says that the directory does not exist

I don't have any problem in installing Rockbox.Which version did U install? Better use the latest one coz it has portrait support which is awesome.
About dosbox emulator,I have encountered the same problem but I fixed it with some ways.I forgot how I fixed it.Make sure U name your dos directory at mmc/mmca1/(dos name) correctly.I think U named your folder as Kituri...

Use Swapman to create swap.It corresponded as U touch the screen but it's slow.Or U can move the pointer with joystick.

i've created a 64mb swap with MySwap but there is no difference...Sad
java games seem to move a bit faster but dosbox not. is there any way to check if the swapfile really works?
