hello there again... can i ask other further questions?...
why don't make Rockbox as a video player as well as ZMPlayer?.. coz for me, RockBox is more stable than ZMplayer...

p/s: If RockBox will be modified as photo, music and video player...can it open flv and avi as well??...

Me just asking and wondering.... =]

rockbox can't run avi files and many other video files that zmplayer could.

rockbox = music player. zmplayer = movie player.

rockbox its not only music player, it can view jpegs, edit text, and runs gameboy roms!!!( the problem are buttons who are so "limited")
if you installed the codec and viewer maybe it can play video...

what i meant above is the main purpose of the software. Rockbox edit text and view jpegs but it doesn't do the job good. (don't even talk about the gb emulator).

there's no codec for rockbox. all "codecs" are precompiled in the rockbox executable.

it's like makin' a comparison between rokr e2 and a1200: maybe have similar uses, but they're focused into different markets.

yes, the control is very bad. gameboy uses 8 button and because its emulator, it need menu button so this emulator need 9 button. but theres only 7 button in rockbox and the frame rate is veeryyy slooow, maybe because the ram and the processor in e2.
maybe someone can fix it? because is so great it anybody can

nope. the reason for its slowness is because of the SDL.
The SDL lib that we used on our phones does not support 18bpp natively therefore for every frame, 16bpp is converted to 18bpp... imagine the slowness... (:
