hey guys.. i have some problem, 2 weeks ago my phone were splash by rain.. so i turn off my phone and let it dry under a fan.. i let it dry for a half day.. after i turn on my phone.. seems my keypad is crazy i cant enter every input.. but after 2 or 3 days it'll fine so far.. except my space button or (*) button cannot use.. how should to solve this problem.. im sure that someone have this problem b4..

good news
i have the warranty

bad news
but cannot send to vendor because i've modd this phone already..

maybe the vendor didnt know.. just take to motorola authorized serviced center
i suggest u to pray a lot so the vendor really2 didnt notice Cheesy

You need to clean the keypad.I think the keypad tone is still wet.Or maybe your keypad connector needs to be cleaned.My E2 have ever splashed by rain.I cleaned it with fan and let it dry for a day.Now,everything is fine.

thanks an advanced i'll try it.. erm one more question.. its after i clean  up the keypad and problem again.. could be my keypad problem forever?

I think it's the same problem as my joystick problem.

I gave them a call (i'm in singapore) they say they wouldn't need to check my firmware and the cost is SG$25.

25?that means it's about RM50+.....aww......you call Moto service center right?i think fixing it in a odinary phone shop would be cheaper.....but you must look for trusted shop......

well this happened to my E2 too rauna Sad
my call key (green key), number 9 and # is not responding, its because of the rain suddenly when i was driving my motorbike Sad
after opened my e2, i found out that the keypad is clean n not dirty but i cleaned it up anyway.....put it together again and restart my e2.....but still those key is not responding.
what should i do? i just opened my e2 so the warranty is expired Sad

i already fix it.. thanks all, i cleaned up my keypad then put it back.. now every button works fine..

just open the casing.. just cleanup a dust under the keypad.. now it works fine.. but becarefull ur back panel case.. "jangan di paksa2 nnt click nya bisa patah"

use Heat hairdryer to dry  the phone
if it can't work send  it to CS````maybe````
