copy the font you want to test to sd card and rename it to myfont.ttf,Execute the attached script.Wait for a moment and you'll see if the font fits or not.If you phone freezs then take out the battery and restart it.Everything will be all right as it used to be.

anyone else want to share? it is hard to find a font that support chinese and work in phone on net. i'm wondering what ultimate/extreme font use, it's the best chinese font in message, slightly bigger and easy to read.

it worked...but the prob is when i remove my SD..my phone will be totally hang.. why?.. and how to solve it?
i use mount --bind /mmc/mmca1/myfont.ttf /usr/language/fonts/AMCSL.TTF

Offcourse it'll hang, cos mount bind will try to find the file. The only solution put it in phone memory

Umount the font first before you remove your SD... Use: umount /usr/language/fonts/AMCSL.TTF It freezed because the system is still using the files in SD... The same thing happen if you put your skins in SD too... You can imagine what happen when the system still running and the SD removed.....

but i also use FOnt changer mpkg..and my fonts all are in SD.. but it didnt hang even if i remove my sd...the font also remain ok...
