i used 40p,41p,49p stock, and katze2 FWs.
all have mp3 skipping problem.is ther any fw solvig this problem.?

Try with OC and Swap Partition in 48P ROKR Ultimate.

try self v2 there no sound skipping at all....maybe because it has all z6 codec, but somehow try to make partition or swap so that ur phone goes faster

its a FW made by ilove3d...and the firmware is totally chinese

you used an out of date FW, try Ultimate, Katze4.
there is an english version of SelfV2, call Only you V2 or Only you V3.
I used all recent FW without overclock and no problem with sound skiping.
and make a swap partition.

thanks i flash to 48p vanhieumai.there is no sound skip until now.
i read partiton swap topic. it looks very comlex. is it making via telnet?

of course you can skip cerating ext3 but there is no point for creating SWAP if your SD is slow..then the phone is much slower too o_O
