you have to install the mpkg normaly and then copy the folder "rockbox" in the .rar file to the SD memory;

Quick review:

Pros:
+ way to finally close the program
+ works faster
+ Rockbox software keylock

Cons:
- Side Play/Next/Prev buttons don't work
- I liked the interface flipped the other direction (similar to E2Snes9x)
- Sound quality isn't as good as the stock mplayer
- When receiving SMS the phone continues to vibrate...

If there was a way to have the side keys working again (that's what they are there for), it would probably be the best audio player we have for our E2.

It works perfect on my E2. Its truly amazing, now rockbox works almost perfect. Big thx to blackhawk

It works perfectly. But there are 2 cons regarding phone calls when using Rockbox:-

1. When you receive a call, the screen will go black, but the call still can go through. But you cannot see who's calling you.
2. More laggy compared to stock player when receive call. Example: Using stock player, when I called, I got 3 seconds delay until my E2 rings. Using Rockbox, I got 5-6 seconds delay.

Anyway, Rockbox is a great audio player with lots of settings. The sound quality also much more good (with correct settings & good earphones) compared to stock player.
