320x240 xvid or divx 384 kbps @ 15 or 20 or 25 fps
audio mpeg3 64kbps stereo
and I use super vid. converter

also wmv files doesn't play properly.
when I opened an avi or a wmv file by using file manager I can't exit. I power off my e2 manually to exit application.

sometimes sound run fast but no video.

I use virtualdub
320x240 XVID, handheld profile (it helps a lot), 400kbps
mp3@128kpbs, stereo.
It looks perfect on our rokrs and good on PCs

i use virtualdub too but settings difers depending on source..

if the source is widescreen like some MVs and animes,i'll set it to 320x182 @ 700-800kbps 25fps and if its normal i'll set it to 320x240 @ 600-700kbps 25fps and i'll add in a sharpen filter +3 and audio at lame mp3 128 kbps hehe...

lotsa lotsa setting to play with in virtualdub...

See, I never had problems playing video at all with ZMplayer and the right settings (VirtualDub as well):

Usually:
320x240 XviD
Bitrate at least 240kbps
15-30 fps
LAME mp3 64+kbps

All depending on original settings...

depends...

i got 30mb swap enabled lol...

i even encoded a vid at 1000kbps but at extra wide screen lol...

the Starcraft 2 Cinematic Trailer the resolution damn weird lol...

ended up wiht a vid 320x140 lol but at 25fps and 1000kbps but MediaINFO shows 947kbps lol...

if u want i can upload somewhere and post it up here...

edit: just checked,my 320x240 vid is set at 450kbps lol...

but my anime vids and most of my videos in 16:9 is at 7xxkbps hehe...

edit2: uploaded the StarCraft Cinematic Trailer encoded at 320x140 24fps 950kbps and 128kbps LAME MP3 audio with sharpen filter hehe...
