V8 continues to lock up.

Im currently on my 7th replacement phone. My phone continues to lock up when trying to check missed calls or text messages. I have to take the battery out and put it back in to solve the issue. This happens about 3 times a day. T Mobile has been useless in trying to help me with this. Has anyone else had this problem. I've had the sim card replaced. Only thing i haven't tried is getting a new battery. Any help would be greatly appreciated. A side from this i love the phone. Thanks in advance.

no, it's not from the battery. It more sounds like a software problem. Did you tried flashing it with new firmware?
