hello  Smiley   i have one big problem,,
i want to overwrite my motorola's e398 bootloader,
i use flashBackup 2.62 , now my bootloader is 07D0,
i just want to overwrite it, or write a newer one,
but when i press flash, the phone turns off when in flashbackup its written
erasing memory, and its the same all times,  Sad

i want to owerwrite it because i have two of e398,
one works  fine,  and the bootloader writes sucsessfully, but on this phone it can't write it  Angry

please tell me what should i do,  Smiley
because there are some problems, which i think can be fixed, by reflashing the bootloader,
well it fixed my first phone  Cheesy

why you have to overwrite your bootloader, what's wrong with our phone so you have to overwrite your BL???i think there's no problem which can be solved by writing/flashing new BL except on ROKR E1 (0A.20 flashed to 07.D0).
what file u used to flash??is it MP??or boot loader flash files??is it stop when on erasing memory??

well, i may be wrong, the problem is with the phone's network, but however, it's strange i think,
that i can't overwrite, or write a new bootloader to my e398..  Tongue
i tried writing files from e398mod.com bootloaders section, tried all of them, but the phone allways stops
when erasing memory   Undecided

maybe i'm doing something wrong ?  Sad

well, i don't have any problems too, (big problems), but it's just strange, that i can't write other BOOTloader,

maybe it's locked , or somehow ...   Undecided

so , i think there are no problems at all, cause what you're asking is purposeless i think, cause, many people wants to change his BL with 07.D0, in this case you want to change 07.D0 with the others, with what else??

i think, as long as it's still same 07.D0, there will be no different or something new, but if it's different type, i think it wont match with your phone (e398)
