Hi...I`m new..here though..but old with this modding thing of moto
recently I sold my Moto ROKR E6 and got this E2 only for MP3 reason(as it has better player then E6)
but I see that..modding it is more difficult the E6

in E6 in any firmware version...you can install the deafault MPKG installer and then by that install any types of PKG/MPKG software

even for skinning purpose..there are two very good software available..just point out the main file and the application do the rest..no worry for the newby

even in E6 while the hard lock is on..the side keys are accessible for Mp3 purpose..but here it's locked too....that's ridiculous... Angry

in custome FW..the music note icon doesn't bring the media player application..instead bunch of geek information Sad

although it has a better community of of developers..(IMO)..but I see they are no standards..like some mod it to OC..some to application..some to this and some to that

why don't you modders do it general...diffrent firmware use diffrent menu setup...(so each time I have to re organize) Sad

I think you are capable to do more..like as you can implent a soft key lock..you can also implent the side key lock fix(so that MP3 player an be operated with keys lock)

and can you build some applcation like skin installer, splash installer, MPKG installer (except copying it to phone to memory like MY_FEV...I don't like to occupy ph mem with these)

thnx

and most of all...I`m not blamming any one..tried not be harsh..not angry
if any of you thinks my language is appropriate..sorry for that
thnaks...
