Did you mod your firmware?
If you have modded your firmware, perhaps your modded firmware is unstable. Try to reflash it.

But before you flash, try to make sure your battery is connected properly to the phone.  Sometimes, it's just simply battery connection problem. I had the same problem before. It was caused by my baterry connector that was dirty and did not properly connected my phone.

Actually, we can port DSP to be used on other firmware.
Just change the first four bytes of the DSP`s Code Group using hex editor.
This is the first 4 bytes of 4xR firmware`s DSP:
42R : 10 BC D3 D0
46R : 10 BD 2E 84
48R : 10 BD 31 EC
49R : 10 BD 31 58

It`s very simple.
Before you send your message, press MENU, select Message options, change the delivery report option to No, and then press done.
The delivery report will be disable until you enable it again.

Yup, as MotoManiacs® said, you can convert this MP to be use on E1.
I've tried this MP on my friend's E1 and it works smoothly.
Just patch the CG1, change the ramldr, DSP and RSA for E1.
You can search the tutorial about converting E398 f/w for E1 for details.
Don't forget to backup first. Always do a safe modding

I'm wondering why many end users from this forum face some problems that I never found before.
I've tested my MP on many phones (including mine) and none of them have those problems.
Ring styles is still set to the last setting that I choosed even I restart or power off the phone, and I never found any problem with calling.

My mistake. I took the language strings from MP that using patch changing date format (a patch that I don`t use in my MP). But I forget to edit the language string dd.mm.yyyy to dd/mm/yyyy and mm.dd.yyyy to mm/dd/yyyy.
Just edit dnp.prf file in phone`s drive a: your self.

I never had that problem. Does the problem always happen or just happened once?

As MotoManiacs said. It`s a bug from patch change indicates of the battery.
Don`t worry. it`s not disturbing charging process at all.

Hhmm.. I don`t know what`s wrong with your phone. Sorry, I can`t give you any other idea how to solve it.

I use light DRM for this MP, so the battery should lasts longer compares to the other 49R based MP.
Using this MP, my battery lasts for about 3 days for normal usage.
Try to replace your battery with the new one and see the result.

Yes, that is a bug for patch "change indicates of the battery".
But don`t worry, as djebrut said, it`s not disturbing charging process at all.

Try to restore your original full backup. If the problem were gone, then try to flash my MP.
I'm pretty sure that the problem doesn't come from my MP, cause no member from my local forum who has tested my MP reported that bug.

I think the problem doesn't come from this MP. Many peoples from my local forum have tried this MP and none of them have that problem.
If you have PDS backup (that is not broken of course), try to restore it after you flash this MP.  Or you can try to flash other MP to see if the problem is still exist or not.
I changed character sequence using CG1 patch. You can find it at Gayoe's patch.
I remapped the handsfree button as right joystick. So you can go next song by pressing the handsfree button the same as you push the right joystick.
You can remapped the keypad buttons using P2K Menu Editor or editing 005b_0001 seem.

Did you flash all the CG's or just reflash your phone?
I've tried to flash this MP to my friend's phone and until now he doesn't have any problem on making or receiving a call.
I also tested this MP to my phone and I never have any problem on making or receiving a call and checking IMEI.

Did you downgrade your BL before flashing this MP?
This MP is made for E398. So you have to convert it first to be worked on ROKR or downgrade your BL to 07.DO.
