Title: 1700mah battery
Post by: kilpyung on August 03, 2009, 02:26:25 am
Just bought e398 1700mah battery (non-original) few days ago, charged it for app.4hours till full, then on moderate usage it only last for 2 days, same as my old original battery. well, my question is, is it the battery not good, or i should do some battery settings changes to make my e398 adapt the 1700mah battery?

sorry for my bad english...

There's nothing you can do on your e398 do "adopt" the battery better... I have a 750mAh non-original chinese crap battery and it lasts 3 days most of the time....

That brings me to conclusion that that 1700mAh isn't really what it says it is...

Thanks for the information. My robonova did not came with a charger, do you know what is the difference between the charger that robonova came with and an AC-DC adapater at 6.0 V 1000mah rating. Can I use a regular AC-DC converter as a charger?

Thanks again.

of course U can, but dont use 6V, just 4,5V coz the phone's battery voltage is ~3,7V. and make sure the output of the adapter is stable and well filtered. and avout the 1700mAH batt, i think, like masta niksy said, it just written, not mean 4 the ccapacity of that battery. if it really 1700 mah, it will make Ur phone stand for about 5-6days ( i ever try by parrareling 2 non original e398 battery, it has ~ 1200mAH and make my phone stand 3 days. if use one, my phone just can stand ~ 1,5 days )
