Title: Tell about your holidays, myths and rithuals Post by: Exploited on March 24, 2009, 09:44:26 pm I thought it will be interesting for everybody to see what others are celebrating each day.
Today is 25th of March - Blagoveshtenie (may be translated as "Good News Holiday"). It is an orthodox holiday. Today if we see a cuckoo or swallow-hole birds we must touch a bread if we want a non-hungry year or we must touch our pocket with money if we want rich in money year :) If we do not see a bird... oh well :( So I should better hurry up and go outside, searching for those birds. Sadly I live in a big town and it's hard to see such :) |
