i have an e398 phone with bootloader 0A.02...I HATE this phone bcoz when i put the battery it will show "code corrupt"...but when i try to flash with motohell MP that using 0A.02 bootloader nothing happen...sometimes it will show SIG ERROR...im tired already...almost give up...but i know someone will help me to make this phone alive...and i need to know how to change my bootloader to 07.D0...thanks to all... :)

Testpoint is needed. How and why did you flash 0A.02 to e398... :-/

Yes, its normal for an e398 to have a 07.D0 bootloader... Dont know how it functions on 0A.02

my friend also got the e398 with 0A.02 bootloader..nothing special or weird actually..the phone works fine..but i dont know why im not happy with this bootloader..but finally i already change my 2nd e398 with bootloader 07.D0... ;)
i just flash file from random's...but when i try the step 2, flashing the second file, my phone stuck in bootloader...always ask me to flash the second file...i take the risk and just flash the MH MP with 07.D0 bootloader to my 2nd e398...im happy its working...yeeeepeeeee.... ;)

now i got a new problem again...my phone already downgrade to 07.DO bootloader...i try to flash motohell MP...its working for a while...now my phone keep restarting...always restart...i try to flsh another MP still got the same problem..i have no idea now..anybody have the same problem??

you should try to flash the 42r_for_all first and then some other MP... Or problem may be in elf pack...

I ever had that problem...restart continuously..

try putting the TF 1st before u flash an MP...
cz the elf pack version influence to diffrent MP...

ok bro...i already follow ur step...i format my TF with my laptop, then i put it back to my phone..and i flashed motohell MP...still got this damn problem.... :'(

my phone still can use...when i try to flash MP (motohell and dj moto final) its work fine....
until i receive a message or want to make a call, my phone will restart.......thats the problem... :'(

Have u repair with Ramldr?
I guess its because ur phone doesn't support quadband MP, u have to flex QuadbandEnabler.hs to update the PDS to enable quadband.

no...that log come from folder where the quadband enabler place by the author...like a notepad actually....hmm... :(

OK..AFTER THE RAMLDR STEP....i flash 42 for all...then i fix my bluetooth address..after that i flash the quadband enabler....'that' error message appears but im pass flash it... then i try to flash motohell MP....still got the same problem..hmmm.....when i must flash the quadband enabler and what software to flash that file?

Ok, u have follow Ramldr step. Now u have 07.D0, right?
U have flash it with Motohell MP, and u'll get restart when u got a call or sms, right?
Forget about Quadband. Did u use .m4a as ringtone? AFAIK, u'll get restart if u use m4a as ringtone in Motohell MP. use .mp3.

thanks for your concern packpunk...appreciate it...you helping me alot..but i already do that step...change to mp3 format..still restart..even when i talk to someone on the phone, about 2 minute my phone suddenly restart...then when i type a message and press button send, my phone hang then restart.... :'(
should i give up or keep trying to save my e398? i want to release my MP but i cannot test the MP it with my phone like this... :'(

i found in the RSD lite, when i check then some details found...
my "Bound signature" is not allowed......but when i connect my friend phone, that signature is allowed...i think thats the reason why my phone cannot working properly...
anyone or masta can help me how to make bound signature allowed?? other than testpoint??

first the bound signature is not allowed...but i try many software to make it allowed..nothing happen...but 2day i try to open my e398 and short all the the pin with wire and 2AA battery on the board..then i make a testpoint...restore the pds and flash it with a MP that have cg7 and TAADAAAAAAA......... :P my phone working fine and the bound signature is allowed.....anyway thanks to all that helping me... :)

now i got a new problem...hehehe...when i charge my phone, my phone became so hot...the phone said charging but when i try to disconnect the charger the phone said low batt...i change the batt but always said that even the batt is fully charge....then i realize that my phone did not complete charge even i charge it almost 19 hours.....hmmmmm.....anyone know why?

alhamdulillah...so lucky im now got a perfect and working phone...thats is not a battery problem actually...me once again open my phone and clean all the pin with methanol...then still got the same problem...now i know this is bcoz of my MP...i try to falsh my phone with 42 for all...thats mean i got a new and fresh PDS...then i fix my bluetooth address and itunes without change my pds..(still got an original 42 for all PDS)
this happen because my first problem...i short some pin with 2AA batt (still find and explore which pin)...the phone will totally reset all the setting including my root certificate....after that i try to copy all the certificate from my girlfriend phone and paste it to my phone....now my phone working properly and about the bound signature and charging problem already solved.......anyway thanks to both of you.... ;)

my last question and need help...

why when i insert my battery to my phone, my phone became hot...my battery fully charge but when the phone became hot, the phone "eat my battery" ... :(

but i suggest you to check the network settings,,
and set the speed to medium,,
it will decrease the battery usage,,

I've just been thinking bout your DRM clock speed,,
have you tried to decrease the DRM speed?
I've discovered that an overclocked processor can caused overheat and over usage battery,,
MAYBE the same thing will happen in the phone,,
