Title: Can't read bootloader
Post by: jsm555 on December 02, 2007, 09:42:41 am
I just purchased a RAZR V3 from a firm in California -

I want to make the phone "normal" - it appears that it's got British software (spellings suggest that) and the reception is poor. I think that the software is old, perhaps not for US market - can I flash the phone to bring it to US standard?

Here's the info:
SW R374_G_0E.42.10R
DSP 62343400
Flex GSMU3xxT677GAI6Y

I can't read the bootloader version, however - when I press POWER ON while holding the * and # keys, the keypad flashes and the phone returns to "off" -

thanks

I have the following set of firmwares in collection: http://v3.e398mod.com/
However you may better try to locate some custom made firmwares (eg Monster Packs)

You will need to flash the following langpack to make it US English: http://d.turboupload.com/d/2174666/r374_g_0e.40.9cr_lp002e.rar.html
