It's not a bug. AFAIK gayoe using a patch called "Alarm (LeftSoftKey change to Edit)" that changed the function of left soft key at alarm to edit function.

it still the old one (can't change left n right softkeys)...

just replaced 2 files mma in a/mobile/system.

also it contains plmn_text_table but it's just for network for Indonesia.

some bugs maybe :
1. VC can't run (on java games)
2. molo-itunes can't run (on java games)

This MP using dual corelets, but you can only run one corelet at a time.
Press smart key to open the active corelet.
To run the other corelet:
1. Unload the active corelet
2. Load the other corelet from java games menu
3. Press smart key to activate it
CMIIW cause I haven`t flash this MP to my phone yet  :) :)

yup...that's correct.
itunes and vc on the list of java is only a trigger.
once you've press it, the corelet will be running in background.
but sure you have to open it with the link at the Multimedia, not from java list.

to unload corelet, just press # + * (to kill any midlet or corelet that running on phone)

i've flashed the mp and it's really great... probably the best..
The only thing that i think it's missing is the file through BT patch (like Symphony 46R has):


If anyone knows which is the patch that does this please give me a link or something because i find it really useful.

I've also found a small bugg:
I can switch from Itunes to VC but the reverse is not working. If i press # + * while i have VC running nothing happens. The only way to return to Itunes is to reboot the phone.

it's based on original 4xR ROKR which worked in BL 0A.02

And stays question about Polish operators. I saw in ReadME:

I'm from Poland, and I have Orange operator. Do I really can install this MP?

I don't think there is any problem. The flashing process has no connection with your operator.
Just be careful if your phone is locked on orange. As far as i know if the phone is locked on a certain operator the flashing process may unlock your phone or kill it.
You also should see if you have R372 or R373 firmware on your phone and make a full backup with Flash Backup before proceeding.

I was flashing my phone many times, i do not have SimLock. But when i install "E398_Symphony46R_by_Montox", or "A603NK_v.2" i just can't call to anyone...
MP based on elektro_555 have lock for polish operators...

I don't think that's as you're saying because me and a friend of mine flashed Symphony46R and worked. The only thing is that my friend couldn't send sms. But for me it worked perfectly and i still think is one of the best mps i've ever tried. It's really stable and i don't think it has any bug.
As for A603NK_v.2 i can't say anything because i didn't flash that one.

ps: i'm romanian not polish and i have orange as operator

blacklist is working.
the method is:
- patch the CG1 with blacklist patch (is only for 49R for now)
- create new Categories on your phonebook, and it's has to be the 5th categories ("All" is not included). so, if your phonebook now has Categories "Business", "General", "Personal", and "VIP", you have to create the 5th category and name it such as "Blacklist"
- now, look on Restrict Calls. if you set the restrict call to "Phonebook", now your phone REJECT all the call from phone number that you've sign in on the 5th category.

U can use this mp coz it has fixed autokeypad lock. If not use undo patch and patch it with autokeypad lock from RGF. Im have autokeypad lock enabled on my phone.Im using ERA.

no you cannot send jar, txt or else via BT with this MP, because i don't use File over BT patch. not everyone like the mess of video files (even though it has different icon now :P )

There's a mistake with the info MP on E398 49R.
it says for E398/ROKR with BL 0A.02 only!
it was meant to be E398/ROKR with BL 07.D0 only!

i'd rather choose iTunes than vc, 'cause vc doesn't have artwork  :)

I've patch this Hours into status to line 1[1][1].56 fix, when i hit camera button then hit the pictures menu, the clock dissapear....

so...what's the problem?

VC can be funtioned as music player like iTunes...u ain't need to create a nu db if u want play a nu music that u store....

in my MP, VC doesn't capable of playing music because i remove it.
it's my light version of VC.
it's just for : Phone Explorer, Image Viewer, Phonebok tools, fweditor and SMS backup.
music player just use itunes :D
if you want to use full VC or even MV, you can replace it yourself.
and for unload corelet which without Unload Button, you can always press #+* to unload the corelet.


and for the clock, it won't dissapear forever.
in my MP, after the shot of camera, press store, then you go to the pictures, you still can see the clock :D

You can do it by editing seem 004a_0001, offset 1b4. Set the value to 00 (alphabetical order) or 01 (date order).

But menu copy disapear, cant copy any kind files from phone to trans or bluetooth and 50 chars sms is sending in 2 pags.

so the format must 24hours?

Gayoe applied a patch called Set default Rsoft in web sessions to this MP. It exchanges Launch to Set Default, and Set Default to Launch. I guess Gayoe forgot to modify strings in his Chinese language pack.
You can modify it self using MotoLangEditor to edit the langpack (CG4) or using RandLang to edit dnp.prf file in drive a:.
But it doesn't matter if you don't modify the language pack strings. You still can set your default web session using Right Softkey (Launch).

the size of .mp3 file will influence the speed of ur CP... for example if play song with 320Kbps,ur phone will take several minutes to move from one icon to the other....

yes. because you flashed another langpack.
you see, my MP is one colaborated CG1, CG4, CG15 because i use patches that has to do with those CG's.
if you want to change the language or the font, or even the DRM icons, you have to use my CG4 and CG15 as a base. you can download Motolovers02.1 packages to use it as a base.

You will have to upload the correct mma_ucp for the skin to work perfectly. Use filechanger application to use multiple mma files

if u upload directly using skinman or sth u'll change the prime mma....

if you want to add your lang, just do the following:
- i pressume you use my MP, so backup CG4.smg with FB3 or edit CG4.smg from Motolovers02.1 packages with MotoLangEditor 2.2 (you have to use this version)
- change the strings of the CG4.smg to your language.

or...what is your preferred language?

This MP is going cool except one problem that my opera mini is unable to use gprs and no other java application is able to use gprs, although my phone's integrated browser is working fine. What to do  >:(

if your default browser is working so you dont have problem with your websession setting
try re-install the java application using motomidman and give them full access

I have the same problem with the RGF.. From the default browser i can browse internet but through java apps i can't.. Even if i set the phone on GPRS settings or WAP CSD settings. There's no difference. What could solve this problem?

for itunes revolution doesn't work, you have to delete folder "iTunes" on your TF first.

It is the same with me. there is no iTap there. one more question. which patch i have to use to enable me receive any unsupported format to my rokr? it is like .wav, mpeg4, etc. Sometimes i ask my friend to send his ringtone in another format n my phone always says unrecognize.

if you use media viewer just copy the audio files (mp3, amr, midi) to audio folder and play them.
if you use itunes than you must copy the music files and after that create a database (enter the menu and after that select CreateItunesDB or something like that).
i prefer the media viewer but you use what you like

masta Gayoe, I found a bug from your MP.
I play iTunes, then I open Multimedia. open one of it contents like pictures or audio, or video. after I click one of them, the phone hanges, that I have to remove the batteray to revive it again coz all keys include the red button isnt functioned. I never find a problem like this in any others MPs I have ever tasted. How to fix this?!

i ever heard about any difficulties on 79R s/w on flashing with MPs in 4xR. but i cant help nothing. emm...try to flash using 42R-for-All first (find it at e398mod.com at MP section), then flash it again with 4xR MP as you want. i am not so sure about it. but try and error is all we can do. Keep on modding, bro! good luck.

yes, there is no iTAP in this MP. you have to edit CG4 to make iTAP.

if you want to edit the langpack, you have to make sure that the base is still this MP langpack. you can replace all the English string with Indonesian string.
in my esnips, i have the CG4 that contains Indonesian language that support to this MP. try look for it.

what is your phone model? is it E398 or E1ROKR?
if it's e398 then try to flash it first with 42R_for_all MP.
if it's E1ROKR (that still have BL 0A.02) then your phone is lock on 79R firmware.
you have to edit the CG1 of my MP first, before you flash it to your phone.

you can't repair PDS with MRS if your phone still using BL 0A.02
you can flash with any 79R MP (like the backup SHX from your friend) if you want to revive your phone.

if you want to flash your phone with any 4xR firmware, you have to edit CG1 of 4xR first:
1. extract 4xR MP with SHXCodec
2. open CG1.smg with hex editor program
3. go to offset 1B and change it to value 01
4. compile the CG1 back to MP with SHXCodec
5. flash it to your phone

I was using camera on E398 and I left it idle for 1 minute.. All the keypad jammed and the video keeping ON. I had to remove the battery to revive it back to normal..

If you have memory card:
Just set your phone from connections menu at usb connections section, set it on memory card and connect Your mobile to your pc. The phone will be recognized as a removable media and you'll be able to copy anything you want. Just copy paste in b\mobile\audio

If you don't have memory card:
You must use p2k commander.
Enter p2k commander and go to options. Now select a/ if you have R372 firmware or c/ if you have R373 firmware.
Set you phone on data/fax from connections --> usb and connect your mobile to the pc.
Now just copy the mp3 files in X\mobile\audio (the X is a or c depending on your firmware)

If you use this MP, open its iTunes and play a song. after that open Multimedia, choose one of its content like sounds or pictures. then, you will see that your phone will hang. you have to remove its battery to revive it again. that's the bug i meant.

You should flash 42R_FOR_ALL first before flashing any other MPs :)

You must convert your phone from E398 (R372) to ROKR E1 (R373) by flashing the 42R_for_all firmware.

Next:
You can flash any R373 mp that you want.

and read the info of the MP.
in Motolovers MP, there are different patch between 46R and 49R that i use, so it has different capabilities :D

did you mean digital clock on top of the display (left side of the ringstyle icon) ?
if it's true, try this way:
1. open CG4.smg with MotoLangEditor
2. edit No. 07 Font of Datebook, set Height size to 14
3. save CG4.smg
4. compile it to SHX then flash it to your phone

you will get the digital clock.

I dont know how to convert my SMG file with new font into *WORKING* SHX.

I tried to edit original motorla lang pack.
Saved it into smg.

When i try to use SHXcodec to convert smg file with new fonts into SHX format SHXcodec popup a window with alert, showing that it cannot find ramdownloader and will use its internal ramdownloader.

When SHX file done and i try to flash it into my phone with FlashBackup at beginning all ok, but when starts process of erasing memory my phone always rebooting :(

You can use Flash&Backup 3.0.6 to compile your *.smg file to *.shx file. It's easier than using SHXCodec.
You must add RAM Downloader to your *.smg before you compile it to *.shx file.
E398 and ROKR E1 has different RAM Downloader. So don`t make a mistake else you`ll kill your phone.
I attach both E398 and ROKR E1`s RAM Downloader. Choose which one that suits your phone.  :) :)

is your phone alive or not?
if your phone is alive but the display doesn't show, maybe it's your LCD problem.
but if your phone blink then get off, maybe it's not hardware problem.

i can try to flash with other MP yet,bcause im in traveling,so i dont know what happen,i write this reply with operamini..its strange bcause the text is still good,but the highlighted colours sometimes desaturated,it hapened too at standby screen,the colour of background pict isnt smooth,but text is still good,this problem start when i used mig33 and the phone suddenly dead bcause low battery,i dont know is it have relation with the case.. i try to master reset..but we know this MP cannot do this bcause its patch.. in my condition is there any way to reset or at least to check my LCD, im not sure my LCD is broke

Hi All! This is my first post. I just installed Motolovers03 and I found it wonderful...but I got some bugs/difficulties...don't know if they're solvable.
1) SMS Notification is always activated...even if I turn it off....this costs me 15 cents more thand sending just the message...makin' impossible to save the credit.
2) SMS sending does not have a "confirmation" in which you can see how many pages are you sending, lots of informations and, of course review the message
3) Is it possible to restore keyblocking using menu button and #?
4) Where's iTap? If I unpackage the sbf and substitute language with mine (code: 0039, including italian), will I get iTap?

1) The option to disable that is under "message options" when writing a new message.
4) I built a shx MotoLovers monster pack including Language Pack 0039. Now I have iTap for English, French, German, Italian, Espanol, Holland, Portoguese and Turkish. If someboy wants, I could upload that somewere.

2. in my MP, i belive that function is ON. i know it for sure because i find it important. i use to have 2 or 3 page confirmation when i send message.

4. to get iTAP, edit CG4.smg with MotoLangEditor v2.2:
- open MLE 2.2, open CG4.smg from LP 0039
- go to "Strings", choose English, then click "Save iTAP"
- open CG4.smg from motolovers03 mp, the go to "Strings", choose one by one language, "Load iTAP" from the file that you've been saved from 0039
you have to do this because in motolovers03 mp has certain things that contains CG4.smg edit.

Thanks to Gaoe, too...but I found simpler the solution of copying 0039 into the "disassembled" motolovers package and repackaging it into shx. Except for some translations which are not ok (for example...rebooting now appears as "chat"), now I have a perfect Motolovers03 with 0039.

SMS notification needs cost? Oh my! That's not a good news. It is not happening in my country. To change the keylock, add iTap, inactivate the SMS notification you can search in this forum. All of what you ask have been discussed.

Yes, in italy with Vodafone (and maybe all the other operators), they costs 15 cents each (the same as the messages).

you can edit the langpack to make chat into reboot now

Digital clock hidden by author. Because digital clock already shown at the top of screen. If you want to show the digital clock, you must edit that skin using S4M, or another.

what if i flash my new r0kr? what happen to my itunes?

i think now i can't give you any screenshot since my e398 dead just a moment ago....i did reflash it with other MP...(i pick Jitshink MotoMusiq3 42R) and it goes fine..but the screen is nothing change..same with before (the colour is bad and texturize)..im gonna think its a hardware problem

..so i reflash it again with my Molo03 backup.....but unfortunatly it won't restart....the phone is dead...and when  i try to turn on it,it only give me "Bulp" sound...when i try to forceboot ("#" + "*" + "red button") it won't live too.... what a pitty...are this gonna be my second dead phone??.... any master in this forum please help me :'(

if you don't see the clock at the top...so you must be using 46R version.
the you have to edit the skin yourself to make the digital clock appear.

@botbot I think you must compile DRM(CG 15) from Motolovers03 Mp using Drm port,then replace gif icon2 do yo want from other DRM,save as your favorite DRM then flash on your phone using FB.

finnaly..my LCD problem solved..although no reply for that..but its okey..thanks guys..with ur care i've to pushed my self harder n harder..
 
anyway..maybe its a little  suggestion for u who have problem like me (view my earlier post)..just put your phone in front of a fan all night to dry the LCD,the problem maybe just bcause a wet LCD..i hope it can help..

You can UNDO that patch, man... or try to flash the Motolovers03_46R, there's no clock at the status line. Right?

if you are using 49R, then you have to UNDO patch for Clock on ss patch. then you have to edit the skin with skinner4moto to make the Digital clock appear again.
if not, the 46R version doesn't have clock on ss patch and the skin is with digital clock :D

just info u can use am pm in clock status line.
n ur am pm character can view.use patch maker and set width to 50.thank7

You Need read again the readme man..
just press 0 button to mark the file you want 2 send via BT, then hit the menu button, you will find copy via BT....

Something strange about my phone in this MP.

i've used this MP from the first time gayoe make this mp I've patch this MP with all new patch...
but 2 days ago i felt not comfortable w/ my phone
so i flash again.
I done all the new patch to this MP.
one time, the phone suddenly turn off (3 times until now), when i turn on my phone, the phone ask about the time, like i remove the battery.

I've set the datebook reminder at october and november, but after the shutdown all reminder gone....

ups, i forgot, when i tried 2 change loud detail, one of sound missing, btw i've used all sound w/ .mp4 (all)

until now i don't know why....

Does any1 knows how to copy files with bluetooth to other1 and how to delete pictures from the multimedia menu, now to copy with bluetooth. A have problems with MMS. It doesnt send. Help please. I like this MP.

To copy stuff over bluetooth and delete etc. Mark it (0) first

and for the MMS make sure your websessions are setup correctly

I have a problem (not only with this MP)
If I want to send 320Kb bitrate MP3 music with Itunes to my phone, Itunes says cannot do this, because the phone can not play this.
(320kb patch is OK)
You can say use DB creator! But it can't made artwork from mp3 file.
Any solution?

you have to do some adjustment on your skin.. u can do it using skin4moto application.  try to check 'Show Margin' box & then see the Grouped Elements for the 'Clock Digital'.. try to increase it's width as well as the height.. save & then install the modified skin..

regarding the 'send SMS on phonebook leftsoftkey' it is when you are inside the phonebook menu, you will just simple press the left softkey to send SMS.  instead of pressing the Option & then send SMS (as what we normally do before!).. hope you got what i mean...

but can as you one thing?.. can you upload the gain_table from this MP on www.yourfilelink.com?..

or anyone who got time to upload the gain_table of this MP.. kindly use the www.yourfilelink.com.. i got no access to rapidshare..

Maybe what samliang mean is clock on ss.

You cant, its not wide enough. U need to adjust it, and  patch maker is a tool to make it happen.
Read some post about it in patch section.

Was very fast one also I like it a lot that part. The camera was a big diference, at least for me.
cuz was the first mode to include that one, and was a very notable diference.

What is that 'undo'  u talking about then if u dont know about UNDO patch?

Those function comes from a patch, u have to UNDO the patch to remove it.

About am-pm, go to Settings-Initial Set Up-Time and Date-select the time.  Change the third box.

i heard previous they were saying that the clock onli works perfectly on the 24 hours and not the 12 hours and i not suitable for 24 hours , then say need to use something to tweak it to make it can see for Am and Pm , i wanna know how to do it without disturbing the other icons

read the tutorials :) is almost imposible that only 100 songs is in the mp. Well not imposible but really really hard to belive.

Its the PC iTunes... It doesnt allow more than 100 songs to be transferred...
So just copy songs to b/mobile/audio and recreate iTunes DB on the phone :)

Can someone tell me how to active ringer id because after i flash with this firrmware the ringer ids Doesnt work again. I use rokr e1 and i already set category in phone, ringer id on and alert in sms menu yes but the all that still not work. please help me

U have to MARK any MULTIMEDIA files by pressing '0' button>MENU. There will be a COPY, MOVE, DELETE options...
