I have a question. I understand that the increase of it means that you can install larger file java but is the java gonna run faster or slower.

Bigges heap size= slower java, Smaller heap size=faster java. I'm using 1024kb heapsize.

I am not really sure about it, but you may telnet and search for that or similar file. Usually many mods like that one are compatible cross-platform

Then, what is the best heapsize? Default?

I personally keep it on 1MB, because there is no big sense for more at the moment. The largest java that I run is around 400KB, which makes around 750-800KB unpacked... still less than 1MB

Thanks.. But, how about game like Asphalt3 3D? The size is larger than 1mb.. So we need at least 2mb heapsize, right?
