Right about now, I'm not complaining.
My dream about now is knowing how to merge a Game Boy ROM with the "Super GameBoy" hardware one to produce a SNES-compatible Super Game Boy ROM. Would be excellent. Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: u4ia_eclipse on August 26, 2007, 10:36:09 am okay, tested this program a lot.. Controls gets a little uncomfortable for a while.. And it lags a bit (very little but still there's some lag).. Using it without overclock and swap.. I also noticed that it too slows down while pressing some buttons.. maybe it is also related with the multiple keypress kernel. I'll be trying to use it with a non-multipress kernel.. See if it works faster..
Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: glodos on August 26, 2007, 11:48:15 am Quote I use the numbers as directional keys, the volume keys as A and B (the most used), BACK as START (the one in the middle) and PLAY and FORWARD as X and Y... well, the least used keys being SELECT, L and R, they are on * and soft keys, but I barely use them. yeah me too;] with side keys playing is more comfortable.. most of games work well, this app is wonderfulTitle: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: keaglez on August 26, 2007, 12:43:06 pm I feel comfortable in this way.. It's great! For the lagging, try to set the frameskip manually.. I changed to 4, it runs smoothly with acceptable speed.. Btw, using the non multiple keypress wont get better.. It's snes games! We always need to use two or more keys at the same time.. LOL :D
Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: pizzadox619 on August 26, 2007, 02:52:34 pm Some1 can tell me. What file does E2Snes support?
i can play SMC only. The next is GBA Emu :P Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: keaglez on August 26, 2007, 03:06:57 pm Big size roms cant run.. Dragon ball (3mb) and street fighter (4mb) only show black screen.. The megaman x (2mb) run but the character doesnt appear.. What happened? Is it only can accept less than 2mb roms?
Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: CyberPunk on August 26, 2007, 03:10:43 pm Big size roms cant run.. Dragon ball (3mb) and street fighter (4mb) only show black screen.. A bit lagged, but it's playable... Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: huatz84 on August 26, 2007, 06:37:15 pm Some1 can tell me. What file does E2Snes support? I think it just read SMC only. One thing that makes me incomfortable is our E2 got a small keypad.Sometimes I press double by mistake.Anyway,it's a great emulator.two thumbs up. ;Di can play SMC only. The next is GBA Emu :P Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: error398 on August 26, 2007, 07:32:27 pm hey, i want to ask u all.. when i extract file roms.. there are a lot files and the total is 20mb ++

@Raunamaxtor, i think you download the packaged of every version of that games.. If you copy them, than you'll have all of them to play... Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: crz on August 27, 2007, 02:07:49 am Where I can get some games and how install it?

Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: error398 on August 27, 2007, 02:45:47 am Raunamaxtor, put the roms into the snes folder, don;t make a sub folder... @sjj thanks 4 advice.. @keaglez Oic.. that is different language version @crz just search SNES ROM Download Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: Joka X on August 27, 2007, 04:54:01 am nice......but the button are a bit painfull for my chubby hand :(......and the games difficulty are a bit too hard for me.......i only manage to pass the first level of castlevania dracula x...thats the first castlevania games that i fail to complete :-[

when i load a saved game or press the power button to go out to the main menu and reenter the game, the sound won't play... -.-" Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: sjj on August 27, 2007, 05:53:03 am I do not have any problems with the sound...
Try other roms... Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: xandi_nxr on August 27, 2007, 06:08:48 am Great Emulator, now I play killer Instinct on my E2.
Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: NightStalker1993 on August 27, 2007, 06:18:33 am it happens on all roms i've tested -.-"
Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: huatz84 on August 27, 2007, 09:58:31 am hey is this normal? Same here, bro.Just restart E2Snes9X and the problem's gone.when i load a saved game or press the power button to go out to the main menu and reenter the game, the sound won't play... -.-" Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: NightStalker1993 on August 27, 2007, 11:06:59 am eh...
just found out... instead of clicking the red button to continue the game,i click the soft key and click 'run' which won't play the sound if i load game lol... Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: CyberPunk on August 27, 2007, 12:00:37 pm I don't have that problem, but when I load a game, maybe it just freezes or shows a black screen freezed (no response to buttons) althought it plays sound, so I have to load the game again until it loads succesfully. No big deal with that...
And a question, is it supposed to auto-save in all games? because I realized that it auto saves in Super Mario World, but doesn't in Chrono Trigger. A suggestion, a way to minimize the app, because if you receive an sms you must quit it to read the sms... :S Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: Taurnil on August 27, 2007, 01:50:00 pm hehe
good ideas.... but hey, be patient, it's just a first release xD I disable sound to get higher framerate :) Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: Darkslider on August 27, 2007, 02:09:56 pm UP - joy left

up = joy left down = joy right left = joy down right = joy up up-left = 7 (not used) up-right = 1 (not used) down-left = 9 (not used) down-right = 3 (not used) A = Vol + B = Vol - X = rewind key Y = forward key L = * R = green key select = left softkey start = right softkey Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: THRCKR on August 28, 2007, 02:31:22 pm green key is callkey or muisickey?
i like your configuration Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: keaglez on August 29, 2007, 09:07:55 am green key is callkey or muisickey? It should be callkey ofcourse.. We cant use musickey.. ;Di like your configuration I hope i wont break my joystick and volumekey.. ;D ;D ;D LOL Btw for the sound problem, just silent the keypad sound in profile.. Works perfectly.. I use 48000khz in playback rate and use the headset, wow, its stereo! Great quality.. Btw set the frameskip manually will make this program run more stable.. Set the frameskip to 4 will get 15fps that is very smooth but a little slower.. Set to 5 will get 12fps (recomended one), with normal speed, playable.. Set to 6 will get 10fps that make it a little lag and fast.. Superb application!! ;D Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: konspirasi on August 29, 2007, 09:28:21 am Thx 4 your tutor bro. Like it so much
Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: yashirotcm on August 29, 2007, 10:11:50 am Its Robotrek time!!!!!!!!!, funny how a SNES emu for E2 can emulate sound when a NES emu cannot, LOL.
Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: glodos on August 29, 2007, 12:16:22 pm Quote NES emu cannot i don't know why but Nes emulators in java can't play sound...only symbian versions have this feature....maybe when somebody would make EzxNES or something xD, then sound will play but when we have SNES emulator i think NES isn't necessary ;]Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: keaglez on August 29, 2007, 03:21:28 pm Its Robotrek time!!!!!!!!!, funny how a SNES emu for E2 can emulate sound when a NES emu cannot, LOL. The answer is because NES emu is java and SNES emu is mpkg.. Its the different.. The java is made to work on all phone, so some phone wont work well, also that java wont have as many feature and performance as mpkg had.. And the mpkg is made to work only in linux phone.. So every features will work..Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: CyberPunk on August 29, 2007, 07:19:03 pm Yeah, I'll wait for MAME, NES and GBC!
fullspeed... pokemon... wonderboy... battle city... city connection... urban champion... aaahhh :nostalgia: I think nothing is never enough for us the human beings :P we always want more and more. Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: yashirotcm on August 30, 2007, 10:31:59 am Quote from: keaglez The answer is because NES emu is java and SNES emu is mpkg.. Its the different.. Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: keaglez on August 30, 2007, 11:32:50 am Yes, but when we got SNES, do you think we still need NES? SNES is much better.. ;D
Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: Taurnil on August 30, 2007, 02:27:44 pm I agree with keaglez.
Anyways, a gb/gbc emulator would be fun.... gba may be hard to emulate... E2 needs more ram. Swap helps, but it won't never be the same. Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: CyberPunk on August 30, 2007, 06:25:16 pm For me, it is necesary. NES and SNES are two completely different systems. like saying "You don't need breakfast when you can have dinner". I think I'd prefer a NES emulator rather than SNES, because:
1- I had a Famicom, and that marked my infance too much (yeah, geek since a baby xD) 2- ...and never had a SNES, but anyway I hardly wanted one, and I never forgot super mario world in my cousin's snes (but e2's snes emu isn't fullspeed, and not too comfortable to play because of too many buttons) 3- NES would be fullspeed, and it makes me remember good ol' times... Well, that's just MY PERSONAL point of view. Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: nearfunny on August 30, 2007, 09:44:56 pm help me plz

Title: Re: E2Snes9X Post by: SaniOKh on October 03, 2007, 01:48:49 am There is a mistake in the emulator's description, precisely in "BUGS".
The "Play" key actually works. It sure loads the music player during the key mapping, but you only have to go "Back" twice to return to the emulator. Otherwise, once you play, the "Play" button works perfectly (and is very convenient, by the way, as it's the easiest to reach).
