last nite i flashed my phone using ROCKmantik MP but when it in process.. i have an error "sending Loader Failed". my phone was turn off, my phone was dead laa.. i try to forceboot but its nothing happen. i cannot turn on my phone even switch to bootloader.. did u all have any idea??

Coonect your phone and see whether FB picks it up.. In many cases,phone will show as connected even without B/L.. If not,you have to try forcebooting itself. You have to try it many times to succeed. Good luck ;)

yes. when i run FB, Phone is connected without BL.. what should i do next step jithinsk? ill try to flash 42 for all.. but it fail..

If you have full backup,just restore it.. You will get error message regarding PDS ,but neglect it..

Connect to RSD lite or MFF. If it shows S Blank Neptune,then flash a new 07.D0 BL.. After that,flash 42R_for_all MP..Good luck

Well,I think better wait for some more results.. Until then,the warning message is well enough I think. But I dont want to hear more people saying they bricked their phone..

It's really easy I had the same problem. I managed to repear it in two diffrent ways:

Way 1.
You will need:
- Flash&Backup3
- any BootLoader file(you can download it at e398mod.com)
- SHXCodec 2.66(also avaliable on e398mod.com)

Step 1
Extract bootloader file(*.shx) using F&B3 or SHXCodec 2.66
You will get CG5 and CG8
We need only CG8
Step 2
Open F&B3 and go to Flashing section.
Select E398 in mobile type.
Click New(to start makeing new flash) select 'Use Lader from profile' and add extracted CG8 file(IMPORTANT: select that this is BootLoader)
Start flashing
Step 3
Force BootLoader and flash wathever you want

Way 2.
You will need
- RamLDR IMPROVED(can be downloaded from e398mod.com)
- any BootLoader file(you can download it at e398mod.com)
- SHXCodec 2.66(also avaliable on e398mod.com)

Step 1:
Extract bootloader file(*.shx) SHXCodec 2.66
You will get CG5 and CG8
Step 2:
Start RamLDR conect ur mobile and click connect
Now change start address to 10000000
and load CG8 file(by clicking Send Binary)
Step 3:
When it's finished(it takes few secounds but to be sure wait one minute)
now force BootLoader and flash whatever you wish

I also made my phone dead when flashing Rockmantic v 3.1 MP.My phone was alive after I did a forceboot.So I recommend error398 to do a forceboot many times.Forceboot not always succeed.U have to do repeatedly.Btw,where's Red King Master?

i still don understand bout Forceboot.. i follow the rules to forceboot but i think nothing happen(blank). if forceboot success, that mean bootloader appeared right? but on my phone,bootloader still not appear

If MFF shows "blank neptune",then there is no bootloader in your phone.. You need not do the forceboot

You can flash whatever you want ur mobile should still be converted to R373 but if you want you can flash '42 for all' just to be sure(remember about changeing of bluetooth address)


Force BootLoader:
You will need:
-2 needels
- your mobile
- will of forceing it('cause it's a bit hard for the first time)
-OPTIONAL: Third hand or help of friend

Step 1:
Take away your battery from your mobile
Step 2:
Take 2 niddles and and make pin 4 and 5 to marge via niddles(I do not know english good enought to write it another way)
Pins 4 and 5 are red pins on this picture

Step 3:
Put your battery back in your mobile pins must be still marged(here you will realise why you need 3 hands)
Step 4:
Take away niddles away and check if there is a BootLoader in the screean if not go back to Step 1 if yes flash mobile

Download SHXCodec 2.66 (http://www.e398mod.com/content/view/50/28/) and BootLader 07.D0 (http://storage.e398mod.com/bootloaders/boot_Loader_07D0.zip)(direct link from e398mod.com from BootLoader section it's direct just to make it easer to find for noobies; mods can change it if they want to)

Unzip both downloaded files using WinRar or other programme to unziping(It will be easer if you unzip them to the same folder.

Open SHXCoDec.exe and click on 'Split source SHX file' and select 'Boot_Loader_07D0.shx'(it is in filder where you unziped it). Now you can close 'SHXCoDec.exe'.
In folder where you unziped 'Split source SHX file' there will appear four new files:

- Boot_Loader_07D0.hdr (you can delate it)
- Boot_Loader_07D0{@0x03FD0000}RAMDLD.smg (can be deleted as well)
- Boot_Loader_07D0{@0x10000000}CG8.smg (this is CG8 file you can rename it if you wish for examle to 'CG8.smg')
- Boot_Loader_07D0{@0x1000F000}CG5.smg (this is CG5 file you can delate it it will not be needed0

If flashing program cannot sending loader i think the problem is PDS from phone has been broken.
Please try this to repair PDS :
1. Open MultiFlashFlex (Motorola PST).
2. Connect USB phone cable with your phone.
3. See the connected status bar, if you see status "S Blank Neptune" then you must doin' this step :
    - Download MRS Demo (MotoRepairStudioDemo),
    - Connect your dead phone (it can connected to CPU even with blank BL mode),
    - Run MRS Demo,
    - Choose your phone type (E398),
    - Click repair,
    - Wait for 3-4 minutes and follow step given by the program,
    - When it's finish ... Flash with your full backup.
    - Voilaa ... Your phone is alive again  :D :D :D

should i solder a resistor 22k on my cable? its to hard i think..

yeah but with a dead phone a chargeable cable data wont help...or should i say it's useless

Thats too difficult I think.. You need a micro soldering iron and too much patience.

Edited: Sorry I did not havew time to read it befor posting so it can have some mistakes I'll to it leater and if needed edit mistakes. Ok I read it can be understand.

It looks hard but it's easy if you know how to use soldering iron. I didn't use micro soldering iron but standard soldering iron(used to solder big things). But before I started to do this I lookd at the cable to thing how to do that easer.

Here are some tips to make it easer:

1. You will need:
- soldering iron
- some cable(I used onece from my old keybord(mouses has the same cables) that broke out those cables are strong and small so they are great to be used to such a things)
- paper adhesive tape(paper tape with glue on one side; you can use other adhesive tape but do not use one with is slippery on not glued side)
- crazy/brave enought(cause it can damaged your cable)

2. What to do:
- Open THIS (http://www.e398mod.com/content/view/111/25/) tutorial
- Unplug ur USB cable grom your comp
- Go thrue with tutorial and your cable up to 6th picture(description of the picture is 'Remove the protection')

Now you can close tutorial 'cause here you will do what I wrote here(easer than in tutorual)

1. Look at your 'opened' cable at side where you remober the isolation. you will see 17 pins and 4 boubbles(under the pins)
2. take some adhesive tape and cover all pins in the longer row(the one with 14 pins).
3. Now you should see a tape on pins, 3 pins uncovered with tape and 4 boubbles(under all pins). Cover with adhesive tape two pins on rigry side(those to that are near eage)
4. You stould have now one pin uncovered with tape(it should be 3rd pin coutnig from row of 3 pins; sorry I cannot take a picture aof it 'cause my best camera is in my mobile and it's not good enought but you can see it in TUTORIAL (http://www.e398mod.com/content/view/111/25/) on picture 7th it is wrote 3 on it's the upper one)
5. Take one cable and solder it to remaining pin(do not care if some of tin(I thing that is caled the metal that is used to solder) left on plate(green part) of cable it has no connection so it does nothing). Make sure that none of tin on pin near with you just solder.
6. Take away adhesive tape(or live it as isolation). And now look at the boubbles again the secound pin that should be sloder with cable is connected to one of boubbles the first left one(left is the side of longer row of pins; the one that orange cable is attatcher on my picture)
6. solder 2nd cable to this boubble.
7. Connect remaining sides of cable to each other so they are marged
8. Isolate connection of cables
9. put back metal cover of USB cable(do not put plastic cover back yet)
10. connect your USB cable to ue computer and chec of there is no smoke commeing from your cable, unplug your cabble. If there was smoke do not care it was just isolation makeing smoke from the heat and that means that the isolation you put does not work properly just check it. If there i no smoke put back the plastic cover and modding of your cable is finshed.

How to use cable:
1. In Data and Memory card mode cable works the same at it was working before but the mobile do not use the battery so you can take it away in any moment
2. In BootLoadrer mode battery info will disappear and it will be always 'OK to program' you can take away your battery as well

If you have no battery in mobile when you connect cable it will turn on the mobile in standart mode.

If you want to turn on the mobile in BootLooader mode just hols * and #(do not hold red button) buttons while connecting the cable.

If you have to force BootLoader you have to force it with your battery(even if it's low) and than you connect the cable.

thanks All, my E398 alive after dead but one thing im not sure.. now im using Symphony MP, but when i push * + # + power, bootloader doesnt show.. its going to blank screen(white light). maybe my bootloader missing, how to i get my bootloader? i turn to normal mode its fine.. just worried bout my bootloader..

this is normal. Sometimes the display is not working in bootloader mode, but it still works.. You can find out if you connect it to the PC

I flashed the mp succesfuly and when i tried to power it on he didn't do anything. The bootloader it's not working. What should i do?

me personally doesnt like MR. Poer too... as you can read all my post in Motolovers ;)

i tried some firmwares (42r for all) and mps (RGF Final) but nothing worked... all of them were stucked at the shx extraction point.
so i've tried a backup (i had a backup of MotoLovers02.1) and it worked.. now i'll charge my batteries (i have 2) and see what says the people about the RGF Final.. i think i'll try that... Hope this one works.
