When you endter media->video(cause there are those files showed), besides standart video icons near movies on ur moto, you can see othen icons on files that r not videos before they someone did this happend there was none icon next to other files like in my mobile

Montox, what are the offsets i have to change to restore the lock/unlock sequence to the original "menu+*"?
I've tried with Absolut Lock/Unlock patch generator (46R) and FlashBackup 2.62 and it doensn't work  =(

You can use this way:

1. Open CG4 (LP) which contain Spanish with MotoLangEditor 2.1.1 or above
2. Click on String tab
3. Select Spanish language, click Strings > Save Strings
4. Open the multiple font Langpack
5. Change the language which you want to change to Spanish, just click on the language, then click Strings > Load strings > select Spanish.lp what created in step 3
6. Save.

I didn't changed the offset of keypad lock and unlock, the offsets is normal. Try it again.

i tried to patch the 2 patches and flash with my chinese LP... it's din change anything(flash with FB2.62).how to patch it with F&B3.02?i can't find the patch button

or do i need try patch if offline and flash it?

Ok, I've changed the offsets on CG1 using XVI32 and it worked. =)

But one more thing: I've found a bug on calendar restoring by P2KTools3. I saw that the events that are with alarm on are kept, but the ones with alarm off are deleted after the restore process with a .csv backup file that was ok.    :-\
I'm going to try MPT backup/restore of calendar after.

Great job with this mp. Very stable (I've changed the gaintable, but the one on mp is very good too).
But, why don't you maked a patch with jar/jad bluetooth transfers?
I think is a good feature that missed up...

I've try "files trough bluetooth" and things don't changed.
Could you help me with this patch?

I like the multiple font ,but I want to know if you can help me ...
MotoLangEditor doesn't support Chinese language .  LP can't be saved after adited..

I'm sorry for saying this, but you must know that the multiple font feature is not support for following language:
- Arabic
- Hebrew
- Chinese
- Thailand
- Vietnamese


Do you remember that if you change the language into Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese, Thai or Vietnamese the font(symbol) will be automatically changed, not use Latin font anymore? From here multiple font is began. So, symbol entry mode for 5 languages above is not works.

not all *.jar can support E398.. you must looking actual resolution 176x220

I'm a newbie that got his first motorola phone a couple of days ago ROKR E1. This is the first time i try any of these packs. I installed the motorola drivers and Flash&Backup 3.0.6. I did a backup of my phone and then i reflashed with this MP. After some minutes i found out that the menu - * will not unlock the phone.

I re-flashsed my backup, but i would realy love to know what i did wrong because i found the extras really nice.

montox has change the key to lock keypad
menu+menu = Lock keypad
menu+green button = Open keylock

You cannot flash this MP directly onto your e398.You first need to flash the 42R_for_all (http://www.e398mod.com/content/view/506/30/) MP before flashing this. Read THIS (https://motohell.com/index.php?topic=361.0)  guide..

ok i have dl flash backup 2.62 and i have selected e398 and full flash and create i have the backup 32MB

now i will use flash backup 2.62 to uploud the 42R_FOR_ALL go to flash  select the 42R_FOR_ALL  and flash

when he finis i start the phone in boot again and select Symphony 46R by Montox and flash again

is this good ???

I've made a mistake before saying this MP was bugged on restoring datebook.
The problem with datebook backup was caused not by MP, since i've made some tests with Symphony 46R, default fullflash 46R (by motorola =P) and G4 48R (by gayoe) modded by me. I've fiured out that the problem is couse P2k Tools 3 has a bug when restoring datebook backup. It restore only the events with alarm turned on.
Sorry my mistake.    :-\

btw: datebook can be fine backuped and retored with MPT.  :D

i have a question. i've had my e398 or 3 years. it was an mtv version. can i still use this for my phone? and this would also be my first time to do anything on my phone. i saw a step by step guide on how to flash the phone but to a rocker e1. can i follow the same steps but just use this instead of the rocker e1 formware? thanks

I also have the mtv e398 and i must say that you can't do what you've sayd. The reason is that you have the R372 firmware and Symphony 46R has the R373 firmware.
If you want to flash this mp to your phone you must flash first the "R373_42R_for_all" (http://www.e398mod.com/content/view/506/30/ (http://www.e398mod.com/content/view/506/30/)) which does the convertion to R373 and after that you can flash Symphony 46R. (correct me if i'm wrong guys)

ps: if your going to do that make a full backup of your phone with "Flash Backup" before flashing anything.

im running into some problems now.. i downloaded i tunes 7.3.2 from the apple website. and when i plug my phone it doesnt appear on the itunes window. do i need to use a lower version of itunes? thanks in advance

and also, i used mpt to back up my contacts and calendar. i was able to restore mt calendar, but not my phonebook  :-\. but im still happy.  :) :D

I think iTunes v4.9 works good.. (But why iTunes? You have built in dB creator now). You can download lower versions of softwares at filehippo.com (http://filehippo.com)

i discovered the db creator when i was exploring my phone. but still thank you. but how do i male a playlist? im sorry if i have no knowledge of the basics. and one last problem that i have is i can't lock my keypad with the menu then "*". but it locks when i press the menu button twice. but it doesn't unlock if i do it again.  :) so now, i just lock the phone itself. but i would still like to be able to lock just my keypad. is there anyway i could work around this or did i do something wrong? thanks

i just discovered how to unlock my keypad. hahaha. im sorry if i havent been reading. now i just have to figure out how to create a playlist in itunes  :D

i'ts very simple. just put your songs in "/b/mobile/audio/" and hit from itunes "Create iTunes DB" or something like this (from its menu).

 - Itunes will put in "Playlists" the folders so if you have a folder "/b/mobile/audio/house/" in the "Playlists" section it will apear a "House" playlist.
 - In the albums section you will see the songs organised by the album recorded in ID3 tag.
 - In the artists section you will see the songs organised by the artist recorded in ID3 tag.

But i recomend that you delete itunes and use Media Viewer. It's smaller and faster.

uhmm i'm afraid you lost me there. sorry. but thanks. i think ill just stick to playing all the songs for now.  ;D. one more thing. every time i get a new message, the notification always comes up no matter what im doing. even while im writing a new message. is there anyway to undo that? thanks in advance.

For adding iTap in langpack, you can do this way:

1. Open any CG4 which contains iTap with MotoLangEditor. Click on Strings tab.
2. Select language which contains iTap. Click String > Save iTap.
3. Open Symphony's CG4. As usual, click on Strings tab.
4. Select language which you want to add iTap.
5. Click Strings > Load iTap, then select iTap file what created in step 2.
6. Save and write CG4 to your phone.

can we vice versa to delete iTap?

if you want to delete the itap simply open the cg4 and after selecting the language that you want to edit click on 'Delete iTap', save and flash the cg4

i can't show time when i make a call.
already setting: dialling services> in-call setup> in-call timer> display: time, but it wont show up when i make a call.
coz i need to know for how long i've been make a call.
does anyone can help?

mine shows the time when i make a call. i didin't have to do anything else. but i have another problem.. since i changed to this new mp, i was only able to upload 1 mp3 file and use it as a message tone. after the first one, all other tones or files i use as message or call alert tone makes a ringing sound and not the song itself. if i play the file in sounds or itunes, it plays the song, but not when i use it as an alert tone. what do i do? thanks

first of all you must put the mp3 files to phone memory not on MEMORY CARD.
1. upload the mp3 file using p2ktools and put on this location>>c/mobile/audio
2. then delete 2 files .db at a/mobile/audio
3. restart your phone

if you flash CG4 then you will lose the multifonts features

i'm using software SHXCodex,the cg4 i replace with my cg4  mod.. what happen,if change cg4 n it flash in my phone?? what happen when im flash LP no DRM ect.??

You can flash it.. If it does not contain multifont,then you will lose that feature,but will have the default font always..

I've been trying MP after MP

the only 2 that have left me completely satisfied is this Symphony by Montox and Motomusic v3 by JithinSK

anyways, only one trouble i've been having with this MP, that is sending MESSAGES... it will go to the outbox saying "Unable to Send Now" and will send later, does anyone know what i can do to fix this? phone calls are normal...

you should check your sms center's number, it's correct according to your provider or not and ...... of course your credits

right, i have credits, to make calls everything is fine... and to receive also. the band is correct 900/1800 i even called the service provider.

the strange thing is that it will send normaly with other MPs...

signal is full strength. any ideas or something i'm missing out?

also a newbie question, this MP has something called "Event" and i cant seem to find out how to delete the event, i only found how to change hours, the tone, etc... someone know how to turn it off or delete the event?

why auto cleanup (inbox/outbox) can't work????

sorry if it took me a long time to report. i went on a vacation then just got really busy with school and the holidays. i haven't tried it on a pc yet. i tried it using mediaviewer and it worked. i tried just last week on my cousin's pc but he reinstalled everything. and p2k does not recognize my pc anymore. im still working on it. i'll post updates asap.
