Title: Show**Binaries
Post by: GeozTsai on July 26, 2007, 11:12:11 pm
How to install or get rid of the show**binaries on other f/ws instead of just using the "ultimate" f/w?

basically, you can copy them wherever you want. Just put the path of these binaries in your $PATH variable.... but, if you don't want to edit $PATH variable each time the cellphone boots, you can check your $PATH variable using telnet:

Code:
root:/# [color=green]echo $PATH[/color]
/mmc/mmca1/bin:/ezxlocal/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin

you can copy the show** binaries to any of these folders... AFAIK, only /mmc/mmca1/bin and /ezxlocal/bin are writeable (you must create these folders if you don't have them)

also, you can install this .ins package (REMOVE .ZIP EXTENSION and install it from E2's file manager)
then you'll get show** binaries at /ezxlocal/bin
