Title: AMPD Editor by Stalker.mg Post by: Exploited on July 24, 2007, 04:43:37 am Now we can make AMPD files with ease ;D
Check this out: http://www.e2mod.com/content/view/211/27/ Edit: Some additional info for those who wish to know: CPU frecuency - just writes the BogoMIPS string (that you can check with the program in telnet). Can be whatever you want :) voltage - real in milivolts. As higher the frequency is - the higher the voltage needs to be. You should never put more than 1500 here, which the experienced users count as "the border", after which you can make a hole in your phone ;D system bus frecuency - the system bus speed. By default maximum 208000Khz multiplier - this is doing the actual overclock. For example if you have 208Mhz system bus and you want 416Mhz processor, then you set the multiplier to 4. memory frequency - the speed of the memory. By default 104000Khz Title: Re: AMPD Editor by Stalker.mg Post by: Taurnil on July 24, 2007, 08:55:42 am wow, that's great :D
as you wrote in e2mod... this is too powerful for newbies :-\ so, lets use it wisely ;) Title: Re: AMPD Editor by Stalker.mg Post by: Exploited on July 24, 2007, 09:46:47 pm Whoever downloaded the program yesterday - redownload the new version. The old one got a bug and it was not working properly.
Now it is very stable and cool (new design also). P.S. I have a though - isn't it the best if we get the system bus equal as the cpu frequency? My experience with PC overclocking guides me that the best performance and stability is gained that way - when the ram and CPU speed are the same. However I am not sure for the exact architecture of E2 edit: I mean memory freq equals to cpu freq, not system bus :) P.S.2. It looks like that it is time for the first burned E2 :) Title: Re: AMPD Editor by Stalker.mg Post by: GeozTsai on July 25, 2007, 09:47:23 pm i think i would burn a hole in my e2...
Title: Re: AMPD Editor by Stalker.mg Post by: THRCKR on July 26, 2007, 12:12:27 am i know is dangerus.... perfect to make popcorns hehehehe
what model of procesor have el E2? Title: Re: AMPD Editor by Stalker.mg Post by: Exploited on July 26, 2007, 12:14:12 am Intel XScale PXA270x
I think that the "motherboard" of the phone will have overpower protectors (or it should have) Title: Re: AMPD Editor by Stalker.mg Post by: THRCKR on July 26, 2007, 12:28:13 am yes i think to...
remembers that everything has a protection of the 200% but that its durability and guarantee this in tests with the load of default like one truk of 1 ton suport 2 ton but dont work fine hehehe stupid example Title: Re: AMPD Editor by Stalker.mg Post by: sjj on July 26, 2007, 02:06:01 am Exploited,
Have you tried with the different settings? Did you get any performance faster than the current 624mhz APMD in e2mod?? Title: Re: AMPD Editor by Stalker.mg Post by: Exploited on July 26, 2007, 02:43:10 am The 624 was the best speed that I saw so far...
I am little afraid to make big voltage changes myself, because I won't be able to find E2 again in my country :) It's not for sale here :P Title: Re: AMPD Editor by Stalker.mg Post by: sjj on July 26, 2007, 05:25:40 am We could try the system bus and memory frequency...
Maybe one of these is the bottle neck.... ::) Title: Re: AMPD Editor by Stalker.mg Post by: Exploited on July 26, 2007, 07:44:20 am The killer performance will be system bus equals to memory speed
