Open firmwares in flashbackup 3. choose MP that you want. Select apply patches, and you can choose patches as many as you want. and then select quick flash. Title: Re: How to get the patches out of a MP ? Post by: Adale on September 08, 2009, 06:26:25 pm is very easy, i put this in the ROKR of my sister :)

I saw the info, but actually it's a little complicated for me. I'm sorry I didn't fully understand what to do???? ??? :-[ I'm using motocmd 1.8 Title: Re: How to get the patches out of a MP ? Post by: ZduneX25 on September 10, 2009, 08:02:37 am Put it in extmgr.ini file (a/mobile/system)
[FPA] app=/b/Elf/FlashPatcher.elf and open patch by MotoCMD ;) enjoy ;) Title: Re: How to get the patches out of a MP ? Post by: msa_6292 on September 10, 2009, 12:54:16 pm Hi ;)
I downloaded FlashPatcher_1.0 and extract it. In the extracted folder I had ‘elf’ ‘ini’ and help folders. I put FlashPatcher (that was in ini folder and it was for rokr e1) in a/system. And in elf folder it was two flashpatcher.elf files. One of them was in the root(15kb) and the other one was in another folder (debug [17kb]). I put flashpatcher.elf which was in the debug in a/elf.(I didn’t have elf folder in b) I also put the patch in the same folder(a/elf). I opened motocmd, first I pressed flashpatcher(nothing happened :( ). Then I tried to apply the patch ,ALSO nothing happened!!!!!!! :'( Please tell me if I’ve done anything wrong.( I think I did the whole part wrong :'( ) PLEASE HELP I’M CONFUSED…… :-[ :( Title: Re: How to get the patches out of a MP ? Post by: jzzz on September 10, 2009, 04:41:44 pm Put the [FPA] in extmgr with correct directory according to where you put it,and make sure you write it the same maybe with capital n space.
I think flashpatcher 1.2 is more better, try to get it. And use the file flashpatcher.elf not debug or dbg. Title: Re: How to get the patches out of a MP ? Post by: ZduneX25 on September 11, 2009, 03:58:06 am And in flashpatcher.ini write:
CG1=0x your CG1 address Undo=yes Swap=no Title: Re: How to get the patches out of a MP ? Post by: msa_6292 on September 11, 2009, 01:21:29 pm Hi bros ;)
thank u for your help. in this post I have attached a pic of my elf folder on my E1 and my extmgr.elf . actually I know almost nothing about editing and these kind of stuff on the phone :P . I've sent these files for u guys and I was wondering if you could help me to learn and take myself out of this problem. :-\ I just wanted to know if u can do this for me. (maybe edit the things that u just said for me and teach me how to do it 8) ) I hope I become a pro one day and help other beginners out from what I've learnt from u.....! :) :) Title: Re: How to get the patches out of a MP ? Post by: msa_6292 on September 11, 2009, 01:25:24 pm an here's my extmgr.elf file ! ;)
Title: Re: How to get the patches out of a MP ? Post by: ZduneX25 on September 11, 2009, 03:25:44 pm No you don't understand me ;)
edit your extmgr.ini file (a/mobile/system) for FPA Title: Re: How to get the patches out of a MP ? Post by: jzzz on September 11, 2009, 05:45:26 pm Ok do like this:
You must place FlashPatcher.elf in b:\Elf\MotoCmd\ The name must be like that,to avoid the possible mistake with different name in extmgr.ini And now open your minicommander. In the left, open a-mobile-system-extmgr.ini,and press 4 then 3. Edit the file and put [FPA] app=\b\Elf\MotoCmd\FlashPatcher.elf After you type it,press ok press menu and save. Then let's try to open motocmd to know how it work. select the patches that you put on your TF. And press apply. Title: Re: How to get the patches out of a MP ? Post by: ZduneX25 on September 12, 2009, 12:25:40 am or
And now open your minicommander. In the left, open a-mobile-system-extmgr.ini,and press 4 then 3. Edit the file and put [FPA] app=\c\Elf\FlashPatcher.elf Title: Re: How to get the patches out of a MP ? Post by: msa_6292 on September 12, 2009, 11:26:02 am thanx guys ;)
But in my minicommander when I press 4 or 3 nothing happens! Actually I've tried all the numbers : 2 pgup 8 pgdown 0 mark other numbers do nothing! ??? Title: Re: How to get the patches out of a MP ? Post by: msa_6292 on September 12, 2009, 11:43:22 am do you know why I need these things ?! :)
as you can see in the 1st page I've said: after I flash my E1, I need to flash it again with another LP. I use FB3 and flash with patches, I choose some patches specially time in the statues bar(my MP originally has this patch, but when I flash it again It dozent show the time and other patches), but my problem is after the flashing finishes none of the patches are applied! ??? Therefore I asked is there any other way to apply the patches !!!!! 8) So u guys if think I can't be successful in applying patches with flashpatcher, just tell me any other ways! :-\ I don't know what to do. :'( You Know I have lots and lots of questions about my E1. I have tried many MPs but none of them 100% suit my taste! So I try to change them Just the way I like it !!! ;) Title: Re: How to get the patches out of a MP ? Post by: ZduneX25 on September 12, 2009, 11:46:00 am Are only two ways:
