Title: How to change keypad lock message Post by: silentsnow31802 on August 07, 2009, 10:13:49 pm I want to change the message that pops up when I push a button and my keypad is locked. Right now it says "You are not allowed to use this phone" I would like it to say something simple like "Keypad locked." How do I change this? I found the phrase "You are not allowed to use this phone" in the language code group (CG4 I think) and changed it but still no difference.

You can use MotoLangEditor (http://www.e398mod.com/content/view/446/28/) or use dnp.prf (use Random's language editor for that) file, so you can just delete it and get back on the old message, or edit it on the fly. Im going to have to look up on changing the dnp.prf and see if that works... ill post up once i get around to it. Thank for you help once again guys. Seems that Motohell has WAY better support for the E1, E398 than M3. Figured it out. Had to change it in every language. Well, most of the guys from MotoModders went here when it crashed... I remember you from there, think I helped you in a thing or two... Now on topic, I'm not sure, I think there are 2 strings with that text in every language... Haven't messed with my CG4 in a long time :S |
