I'm kinda new here
Just wanna ask u, can E398 support 2 GB TF card?
I'm an MP3 freak, more than 900 MB of my 1 GB TF has been used for MP3s, and still, I want more MP3s stored into it.
If I buy a new 2 GB, can it be read by my E398?
Really need suggestions..........

As much as I remember you have to format 2 gb card with some other motorola phone that can read it and then put it in e398. but then you can see card only trough corelets

I suggest you to format using v3xx,the TF will formatted be 1,5gb.
Don't format again on e398.
And,don't use old MP,it can't support 2gb.

Surely will decrease your phone processing,since our moto has a weak processor.

512 MB full makes our phones slow, you can imagine what 2 GB does  ???

@anto,
Insert your TF to other moto phone,like razr v3xx.
Format using that phone,and insert to your phone again.
Don't format again with your phone.

@jzzz its make sound,picture and video show on our phone?or we just can see using MV or Motocmd.I havent try using Moto phone(jarang yg punya),but I try format Nukiem Expres music then on there shown full 2Gb,then insert my file there but sound,games,picture and video not shown,if I try access  my phone said UNFORMATE CARD.how to fix this.

I'm not clearly know,coz i ever use 2gb for a while and sold it again.
As far as i know,format nukie and moto are different,so it will detect as unformatted in our moto.

And generally the phone that has the same TF format is L7 and v3xx.
So,you must use another moto phone that has the same TF format to format for fixing it.

Actually similar system(p2k) maybe jzzz? L7 support 2Gb?

I'm not sure that will work, since read 2GB perfectly depend on the firmware. CMIIW.
Exp, in LTE2 based phone like v3i, only the newest fw R4441D_03.05 that suport 2GB.
But, if u can use 2GB card perfectly in E398 give me the way and show me the storage device's screenshot.

Be carefull for using 2gb,only some people that successed to use it.
If it's not work on you,it's only waste your money to buy it.

Ritz,GF Rockmantic was proved it.
That MP said that its can using 2gb.
And its give a screenshot of the phone status.
And it shown 1.9xx.xxx mb.

I ever use this MP,but the same,can't format 2gb,you must still using another moto that support 2gb.
I ever use 2gb,just get 1.5xx.xxx kb and i sold it again,it's too complicated i think,when i need to format,i must lend my friend's moto.And i really not suggest you to use 2gb,very complicated.
And i don't know like oniech said that's only can read multimedia,coz i'm use 2gb just a while without fill nothing on it.

so how to make TF 2gb work on e398? I'm very confuse after read all post in this topic,,,anyone help me please
