This forum is free for all - I can't set you a strict limit :) Just make it visually good, so the users can focus in the text of the threads and not in the banner... As you see the text of the default forum theme is small size (so we can fit more posts on screen page) and your banner has a huge text - it directly "steals" the focus. When you post twice on a screen page - it takes 1/3 of the screen ::) :P :-*
