Title: Need help on picking new moto phone Post by: cmp007 on April 15, 2009, 08:00:53 am So right now I have a Rokr Z6 and I've had it for almost a year and hate it and its finally messing up enough and ready to ebay a new one. My main concern is ringtones and stuff like that. I have always made my own ringtones and with this phone it does not allow me to apply my own as ringtone. I was looking into a razr (not sure what model). I checked out the alltel site and they have the new Razr VE20 but there's no info on it here. Does anyone know if I will have a problem with the Razr's with making my own ringtones and if so what models can I do it with? I would like to stay away from having to use p2k tools and modding it.

I have tried everything. And I hate this phone and want a different one anyways but want to make sure the next one I get I dont get stuck with this same problem.

i don't get it bro Title: Re: Need help on picking new moto phone Post by: cmp007 on April 15, 2009, 04:58:12 pm If I have a ringtone I make and do not buy from real tone jukebox or whatever it wont let me apply it as a ringtone on my phone. If I transfer it to the phone directly or to the sd card it doesn't have the "apply as" and I'm not able to make and use my own ringtones. So just trying to make sure my next phone does not have that problem. This is the first phone I've had that has done that

anyway, look like Z6m do not use MotoMAGX, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motorola_ROKR_Z6m new phone, how about ZN5? Title: Re: Need help on picking new moto phone Post by: cmp007 on April 15, 2009, 08:13:10 pm LOL.... I think he want new phone.... anyway, look like Z6m do not use MotoMAGX, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motorola_ROKR_Z6m new phone, how about ZN5? The Zn5 looks sweet but alltel doesn't carry them. Alltel is crappy and doesn't have any cool phones. There's the v3/v9/ve20 razr, some PDA smart phones but dont wanna spend the money on those so not gonna worry with them. But really all they have are the different models of razr's I figured I was stuck with one. Trying to find the best model and make sure I wont have the ringtone problem. Title: Re: Need help on picking new moto phone Post by: Joka X on April 15, 2009, 08:22:35 pm get a V9 I guess..... since it is more popular and you can get help from others if you have any problem with it....

I was gonna get rid of the z6 cause I just hate the phone. Is the "m" the model or something that is the problem with modding it and stuff? And I guess the v9m the same way as the z6m? Title: Re: Need help on picking new moto phone Post by: Joka X on April 17, 2009, 07:06:02 pm hmm... probably.... but you can try to mod it after you bought the phone.....
