Title: How do I install java apps / cannot access trans Java! Post by: dr_spork on July 16, 2007, 07:46:36 pm I have a Chinese E398 that seems to be the MTV version. When I enter the Games/Java section and press the menu button, I only see "details, delete, permissions". Nothing about "switch storage device," so it would seem I have no way to install new Java applications. Is there another way to do this, or is there something I'm missing?
Do I have to change my firmware? That would mean going out and buying a data cable. Title: Re: How do I install java apps / cannot access trans Java! n one thing for sure why dont you upgrade your R372 E398 to R373 E398.. and enjoy the maxibilities i think in this section there are tutorial that you can read step by step Title: Re: How do I install java apps / cannot access trans Java! Post by: Jithin on July 16, 2007, 07:56:58 pm You cannot install Java on memory card with stock e398(R372). You have to upgrade to ROKR(R373) for that. Please read the guides on how to do that. Always make backups..
