I would like to ask about the video player of zn5 if it could play flv,mp4,avi.mpeg,asf and dat video files? if yes what max fps it plays and max hz of frequency of the video file
secondly for the persons who had rokr e2 and get zn5 which is better in music e2 or zn5?   

I've heard E2 it's pretty equal to ZN5 on speaker sound but on headphones ZN5 is better
flv, asf by now not possible, mpeg not really sure but i think i does and MP4 yes it does

but the sound of e2 through headphone is excellent even it beats that of n73 music (i tried that)..you know why i ask because i want to get zn5  but hesitate to do i have e2 and it never disappointed me it can play all video types i mentioned and the camera is good besides it is the most motorola phone which has many programs and fw as u know one thing i miss is wifi but already i have a DSL in my computer at home... what do u think?

I think there are brtter than E2 in music, but did the Z5 OS same as E2 OS?

I mean the programs that work in E2 is work in Z5?

and Z5 battery or E2 battery?

E2 beat most of the music phones out there first
ZN5 uses a similar OS, it's like a updated version, most of the apps won't work, you may find a few that work but that'll be weird, even more cus so far i think ZN5 isn't MPKG capable (neither MGX capable :()
and they don't use the same battery

There are not better than E2 in Music.

and I mean: what is the better in battery life: the battery life of ZN5 or Rokr E2.

I think E8 can kick E2's ass (that's what i've heard i don't have my E8 yet), ZN5 has better battery life, i doubt it's just a 5mpx camera, it has good points, just that you are a modder, and you see beyond those things, the modding capabilities, and by now the only one that can say hey i can be as good (or even better) than E2 is E8, none other phone (maybe a1200/E6 but taking that one out, absolutly none)

I own E1, E398, E8 and ZN5 NOW. I won't talk about the King of Kings - E1/E398.

Listening via headphone, both E8 and ZN5 are not quite significantly different, personally. I reckon E8's nicer.

E8 external speaker is MUCH better than ZN5. You will be more happy with E8 than ZN5.

E8 has volume tuning levels from 0 to 20 while ZN5 boasts 0 to 7. So u can adjust E8 volume very finely, giving you great sound of music.

E8 battery life is much better than ZN5.

Sorry I dont have E2 to compare but can give a bit details of ZN5

ZN5 gives great picture result from its 5MP camera.

If you r looking for music fone, E8 is the choice boasting additional 2MP camera, not too bad.

HOWEVER both E8 and ZN5 disappoint me in video playback. THey always complain 'Cannot playback due to too high video frame rate or audio bitrate' !!! OK I dont watch video on them. I have ipod touCH.

thanks for your notice about zn5...i decided not to buy it at present time rokr e2 still satisfy me i am interested much in music and video playback on phones than camera..because of linux os and this great forum my e2 plays videos with 400 kb and 25 fps smoothly..   

is there any tweak that can make zn5 play high bitrate vidoes and to capture good quality video?

To play high bitrate video,you can try patch 25 fps MP4 bitrate crack. It works on my E2,E8,Z6,EM30 and E680.You can have 25 fps with 1000kbps videos on your phone with QVGA resolution.

I don't have ZN5 but I think it should work on most Moto Linux phones. I've tried on E2 (lag a bit),E8 (perfect),Z6 (perfect),EM30 (perfect), Z8 (perfect) and E680 (perfect). Try taking a look at E8mod.com.The software is available there.

i tried the tutorial and it worked well on my e2 as u mentioned it the total sum of audio and video bit rate must be equal to 1000 kbps but what i meant is how to increase the cam video rec resolution of zn5?

Maybe it's need some more times to make it possible on ZN5. In E2 and Z6,we could record in QVGA resolution.The video quality on my Z6 is perfect.

I'm an avid fan of motorola even though motorola company moved out from our country because of the current economic crisis. Every year I change my phone. First, I got E398 and I'm satisfied using that phone even modding. Second, I got Rokr E2 and makes me satisfied also more than E398. Third, I got Rokr E6 which is much better than Rokr E2. Currently, I bought Motozine ZN5 from ebay australia and I'm so satisfied with it. It's much better that all phones I have before, I've got better pictures, good sound quality, wifi ready and more. The good thing is, I converted hundreds of videoke files and saved it to my 8 gig memory card. Together with my friends, we always have fun playing videoke on TV using my cellphone. All of them were amazed.

But E2 with RB is the best.
With the same file and same headset, E2 with RB beats all.

I have an E2 and a ZN5.

The music player for the Zn5 seems a little better than the e2. The e2 is way more moddable than the zn5. I am pretty unhappy with the mod scene for the zn5.  The e2 has a better video recorder. I think a mod came out where the e2 can now take SDHC cards which is great because 8gig & 16gig cards are pretty cheap.

The Zn5 has way better battery life, a better camera (for sure), can load more music than the e2 (for now).

I think the e2 is more versatile than the zn5 with the mods, but you can not beat the camera of the Zn5. It is great and very handy.
