Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: Joka X on July 10, 2008, 07:44:00 pm haha....look like black E2 with orange side....
Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: NiKSY on July 11, 2008, 01:16:36 am lol Doesnt look like E2 at all :D
But this is a GREAT phone... I like it much more than E8! Screen looks bigger... Maybe its square now? 320x320? Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: Exploited on July 11, 2008, 08:20:51 am hmm didn't see that actually - it really looks square
Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: NiKSY on July 11, 2008, 10:39:26 am That would be great, too... Bigger screen :)
Must be cheaper (they lost the alpha wheel)... Could someone guess the price? Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: keaglez on July 11, 2008, 11:26:26 am Ah, the screen looks bigger...but i dont think its square... :)
Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: Polar_BearXL on July 13, 2008, 09:48:06 am square screen or not, it looks nicezzz, by the way? is there any news for this phone?
Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: Exploited on July 14, 2008, 12:21:31 am I doubt that Motorola will release these new phones on the market before the autumn... Spring is usually "dead" season for buyers and for that reason it's useless for Moto to shot their aces. They will wait for the big Chrismas sale in USA :)
Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: Polar_BearXL on July 14, 2008, 05:32:58 am i think, it won't go as far as that, i mean, you can see all the new series of Nokia and SE all the places, well motorola need to release phones too, if they didn't want to lose their market share "again"
Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: joeyNET on July 25, 2008, 01:53:54 am With body thin and slender
Very fit for office style :D Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: cooper666 on August 04, 2008, 06:05:50 pm GPS? MY god......however, as far as i know in china, em30 doesn't support GPS and, moreover, it's weaker than E8 though with 2.2 screen........
Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: Joka X on August 06, 2008, 05:20:42 am i just found out this is the cheap version of E8....... http://www.gsmarena.com/motorola_expands_their_music_rokr_series_with_em25_em28_and_em30-news-562.php
Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: Exploited on August 20, 2008, 01:44:36 am well E8 is cheap enough I think :)
Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: RasahCrigis on September 02, 2008, 09:52:20 am EM30 has already appear on Indonesian market. it's about $200 US
Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: Joka X on September 02, 2008, 10:32:55 pm thats cheap.....thanks for the info....
Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: Exploited on September 23, 2008, 04:24:17 am OK, so the GPS news was fake (so sad)...
This appears to be the "cheaper E8". I guess the OS will be the same, so same mods will apply. I see EM25 and EM28 on the gsmarena page too :) Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: NiKSY on September 25, 2008, 01:48:01 am $200? Thats like 150euro? Niiiice :) I hope I can collect money for this one.
Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: Exploited on September 25, 2008, 02:13:29 am Most people will buy E8 and E8 mods may not run fluent on EM30. Anyway why not :) We will have EM30 user porting apps ;P
Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: keaglez on September 25, 2008, 02:55:00 am I hope i can get EM30 or E8... They are so cool. xD
Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: Polar_BearXL on October 03, 2008, 03:42:26 am i'm getting quite confused, i want to have this phone? or saving the money for the E8, and have a happy modding time (oh yeah baby ;D) or saving it for Z12 with a symbian platform???? anyone, please give me a suggestion
Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: Exploited on October 03, 2008, 03:49:59 am I think that E8 is the better choice anyway
Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: Polar_BearXL on October 03, 2008, 03:53:39 am you think so??? well, that means, it's time to tighten the belt, and save the money, by the way, is there anyone that can tell me where to find the online shop that sale this phone, in Indonesia to be exact
Actually what makes the EM30 an "other phone"? i mean it looks like only a nerfed E8... Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: Exploited on October 03, 2008, 04:15:51 am In motofan people say that the plastic of EM30 is much worse than on E8 too
Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: NiKSY on October 03, 2008, 05:50:46 am If some1 gets one EM300 extra, please! Please send it to me :D Im desperate... 3 years with my e398 and looking and all these miracle moto's...
First to ask! :P Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: Polar_BearXL on October 03, 2008, 09:06:08 am If some1 gets one EM300 extra, please! Please send it to me :D Im desperate... 3 years with my e398 and looking and all these miracle moto's... First to ask! :P Hahaha, it's fine, just try to save your money NiKSY, i myself have been hanging on my E2 for almost 2 years, and before that, i had an E398 that last until it broke itself, :'( i miss my E398. Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: keaglez on October 03, 2008, 09:49:10 am The Omega Wheel on E8 is really rock... So go for E8 is better choice than EM30... And EM30 surely looks cheaper than E8... :)
Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: NiKSY on October 03, 2008, 10:14:48 am Hey, whats up with the screen, did some1 find out if its same 320x240?
Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: keaglez on October 03, 2008, 10:37:54 am Hey, whats up with the screen, did some1 find out if its same 320x240? yes.. same with E8, 320x240. ;)Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: NiKSY on October 04, 2008, 01:00:02 am Too bad... Now I need to start collecting 200euro for E8... Ahh long time :(
Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: rokre2mania on October 06, 2008, 02:04:48 am but the specifications said it is 128 X something
. the resolution is lower, maybe. Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: keaglez on October 06, 2008, 09:04:32 am but the specifications said it is 128 X something Thats wrong. Im pretty sure it is 320x240 pixels.. the resolution is lower, maybe. Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: figen86 on October 06, 2008, 05:56:55 pm EM30 same screem, same keypad ...
the diffierent just the the low cpu,the cheap price than E8 so it just the brother/sister of E8 Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: NiKSY on October 06, 2008, 10:31:04 pm WHat low CPU? Slower CPU then on E8? I thought it's just the omega wheel? Maybe that 2gb internal memory,too... Those too raise the price...
Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: Polar_BearXL on October 07, 2008, 06:26:57 am cpu speed is not so problematic for me, since we can easily overclock it right?? but of course i prefer E8, saving my money for it, hahaha
Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: Exploited on October 07, 2008, 09:57:47 pm I don't think the CPU is different. There are not much mobile CPU variants on the market anyway.
About the overclock - yeah right, but the statistics shows that the profit is not big enough :( If something lags bad - it will still lag, even on max overclock... The profit from OC is too low to be discussed. I actually downclocked my E2 :) Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: samuel_witwicky on October 08, 2008, 07:22:30 am I like the style good, especially if cassings pink.. Haghaghag..
I can't say what, especially.. ;D ;D Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: Polar_BearXL on October 09, 2008, 01:11:08 am I don't think the CPU is different. Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: Polar_BearXL on October 09, 2008, 08:37:36 am i don't think motorola differ the cpu, and even though they differ the cpu, we can still easily overclock it, the main problem for most moto phone is the firmware, it's just not quite good, remember, nokia phone proc run on 369Mhz, and it's still faster then our moto product, the problem is, even in our modded fw, we hardly got a 5mb free memory from the total of 48mb memory, and that's bad.....
what i mean is, you don't really think about how fast is EM30 proc, since as long as moto still sucks in creating fw, it's still hard for us to get a fast-responsive phone........ but that's why we love modding isn't???? there's always a challenge to overcome :P Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: MOTO_MIKE on November 03, 2008, 11:02:07 pm ok, ok, ok the EM30 its the basic version of the ROKR E8, low price and basic aplications!!!!

Title: Re: Motorola ROKR EM30 Post by: huatz84 on November 12, 2008, 03:35:05 am Yeah,You're right Motomania..Until now, there's no review about any Moto phones in GSMarena. The latest one is Z8.It's such a discrimination.
At Smape.com,It's been proved that Rokr EM30 is the best among its competitors.Rokr series are the best music phone until now.No one can deny it. Since E398 era,Motorola has ruled the world of music phones with its hi-fi audio quality. GSM Arena doesn't have faith to facing the fact about Motorola and says Motorola great. If GSM Arena give Motorola Review; i don't believe them. EngadgetMobile and The Boy Genius Report also discrimination to Motorola; Example: When Motorola fired some worker, they blow up the news. When Nokia fired some worker; they don't blow up the news.
