Well this discovery is not mine but from the russian guys (motofan.ru)
Well i'ma post a mpkg which makes all the job
Well install the mpkg on your phone and then set it to root just that then reboot or refresh and click on the app i recomend you to choose medium resolution and then 240x320 because this is a first the guys who made this still need some work on the libs
you can also put the libs inside but its some extra work but if you want

just put the ezx_camera.cfg en /ezx_local and then the libs package also there
you need to modify autorun and put this line on it

[just if your FW is Maxx if not read at the lower part]

Here is the english version. You need to wait a while after selecting a resolution, so be patient.

BTW, I didn't like how this program adds itself to all autorun files. But I didn't change that.

Thanks BlinK! Yeah, i saw the script add to startup.txt, autorun.txt, first.txt and startup_test.txt... lol :) however, very nice mpkg!

Maybe framerate depends on our moto speed and free memory. But I really don't know.

hey blink ur video's properties is kinda diff...

instead of 'h263' as the codec like mine,urs is MPEG-4 Video and a few other stuff are diff too...

Hm. Thats strange. I am using MAXX E2 MP. Try to capture a video with the same resolution as mine, but with your phone. And try to compare the quality, or bitrate.

me too the recorded video was in mp4 codec

Russians guys always revolutionizing the mod on our E2.

just tested...

if its in 320x240 the codec would be in mp4 and the bitrate would be ard 400 something but if ure using at 352x288,it would be 3gp running at 3xxkbps....

and if ure at 704x576, it would be at ard 0.5fps and ur pc can't even play it LOL

So, as said in motofan.ru, best quality is 320x240 so far.

I'm sorry atomic but i think it doesn't work, if you wanna try do it but on your own risk, i don't think it can do something that can not be fixed with a flashing process  ;)

AFAIK there is a MP with 352x288 video record on Z6... Named as WK Tools... :)

i have autorun.txt on my sd card and instaled mpkg im choice 320x240, restart phono and nothing new happens :?

You dont need to restart actually... As of autorun problem, i think there is a problem in RunCamera.sh... :( Anyway, it wont do anything to autorun file on SD...it adds to autorun file on ezxlocal... :)

i dont copy files to My FAVOR so autorun cant bind anything

did you try to install it in the memory card instead of phone one?
this application needs time to be applied so be patient to make changes occur.
i am on black storm fw and it works perfectly

i got the same problem as rauna. i'm using maxx II. i tried to uninstall but my phone freeze again. now i decide to reflash my phone. anyway this apps suppose to be great for e2. maybe need some modification. i hav record a vid with 240x320 and its cool.

For all of you who got freezes: do you wait for the confirmation message. It takes very long to modify these files. Sometimes for a minute or two.

It works without a problem in Black Storm. No need to edit autorun.txt. Just copy the library files to \ezx_local folder then run the app. There is a weird but temporary bug i noticed. After i successfully changed the resolution, i recorded a 1-minute video. After that, the native multimedia will not work anymore. I made a cold boot and everything is back to normal even after i recorded a video. This problem came when u try to store videos on memory card. To solve this, i deleted all videos in memory card and its working perfectly.

This application work in firmware stock . Somebody make can this.

This will make your E2 have a greater bitrate and higher resolutions. IT DOES WORK. I tested it myself.
