Title: Zero post members - leave them or cease them?
Post by: Exploited on April 20, 2008, 04:33:31 am
Some people just register themself because they think they will find something hidden but then they realize that the forum is totally open. After that they never login or they login but never post any information. This is just a waste of space and during the time it will make the SQL usage on the database higher and higher (not a problem at all for the moment - maybe after few years LOL)... What do you think about the 0 post members?

Do not delete..
As far as I know, you need to be a registered member to download attachments from this forum.. So there are many members who have zero posts, but still visit the forum regularly.. Also many of them post only when it is needed.. :) :)

Anyhow, members who aren't active (not in terms of posts, those who haven't visited here for months) can be considered for deleting, but only if needed.. :)

Agreed with Jithin, but I think the forum is about transfer information.
Delete only the 0 post member that online less than 1 or 2 day.

Do not delete members with 0 post but used to login to the forum at least once a month.
Perhaps they joined this forum just for searching information (just like I did in other forum?LOL).

He is co-owner of e398mod.com, e2mod.com and motohell.com... Not really a forum or community guy - he is maintaining the financial part of the websites. I am the admin guy

He is also owner of many other websites...

i am moderator in other forum, and i think as someone said, there are some users that connect only to see "what's new" and dont post anything, so i think to delete all the inactive members for less than 1 x month.
