I am facing very strenge problem since long. Many a times my assigned tone simply goes blank and someone calls me then it only rings a standard landline type ring ( i.e. trin trin) once and then doesn't rings. I had deleted fix melody method in p2ktools, deteted temptonedb and mytonedb, flashed another mp but still I am facing the same problem ( I am using F&b 3.04 for restoring phonebook,sms,times..) so what can be the possible reason?? ;D Do you think that using F&b 3.04 for restoring phonebook,sms,times may cause problem ie it resores the bug file in new mp?? Post by: P_41_JO on April 17, 2008, 12:15:09 pm after copying tone files you have to delete mytoneDB.db using p2ktools (explorer mode) or using java applications, exp. Media Viewer, minicomander, or phone explorer, go to a/mobile/audio/ then resart your phone.
then you can assign your ringtone again. just simple tips, if you want to insert new file as ringtone, copy the file to TF, then eject your phone from your PC, go to multimedia, open the files, then copy them from TF to phone memory. With that way, you don't have to delete your MyTonesDb.db, you can use the files as ringtones straightly. At least it works for me. Title: Re: crazy behavior about asigned ringtone !!!!!!
