Title: Re: no menus Post by: DDSH on April 10, 2008, 10:53:49 pm Restore your UserMenuTree.
Title: Re: no menus Post by: BlinK_ on April 11, 2008, 11:02:27 am Where is mainmenu.ini located on e2?
Title: Re: no menus Post by: keaglez on April 11, 2008, 03:06:31 pm No, mainmenu.ini is a skins configuration files (located in same folder as ur skin)... Do what DDSH said or flash ur phone...
Title: Re: no menus Post by: lklandaverde on April 11, 2008, 06:54:55 pm sorry, i have been reading about skins, and i get confused, is the UserMenuTree, restore it
Title: Re: no menus Post by: andrei on April 15, 2008, 06:25:35 pm but how to restore mainmenu.ini or usermenutree ???
Title: Re: no menus Post by: keaglez on April 15, 2008, 10:39:11 pm Ah, if u have backup of course... Or delete the /ezx_user/download/appwrite/am/UserMenuTree or maybe copy the one from /usr/SYSqtapp/am/ will be fine... :)
Title: Re: no menus Post by: andrei on April 17, 2008, 05:08:42 pm that's only happen if your E2 in USB lan mode ?
but how if the E2 in memory card mode? Title: Re: no menus Post by: keaglez on April 18, 2008, 03:41:06 am U must be able to access system files, with telnet or linksys, if not...flash is might be the only possible solution...
Title: Re: no menus Post by: steel00 on April 18, 2008, 09:34:59 am the problem you have happens when you connect E2(memory card mode) with the pc wihout removing the SD of the E2 using the mmc manager.. i think that's a bug from a few fw, not all the fw's have that bug.
Only solution reflash Title: Re: no menus Post by: error398 on April 18, 2008, 08:28:41 pm it happens to me once.. yeah its becoz sync my phone using MMC mode not usb lan mode..
Title: Re: no menus Post by: andrei on April 20, 2008, 04:44:34 pm yeah i think in revival fw project, this problem's sollution must be included...
Title: Re: no menus Post by: Taurnil on April 24, 2008, 06:28:34 am LOL
how do you think any FW can guess when are u gonna remove your SD CARD? that's hilarious. you MUST disable the swap partition before removing your sd card. If you don't, the phone will hang up just like your PC would freeze if you remove your RAM memory when it's turned on. Title: Re: no menus Post by: pebri86 on May 05, 2008, 04:23:37 pm Yeah it's happen to me last night... >:(
And I don't have any backup of usermenu tree.. so i tried to master clear.. if you can connect to PC via USB net try to telnet and master clear or masterreset via telnet command.. for master clear : #cd / #cd ./backup #./masterclear_user.sh wait until reboot for master reset : #cd / #cd ./backup #./masterreset_user.sh wait until reboot @mortale2 It's work for me...i hope it'll solve your problem too Title: Re: no menus Post by: error398 on May 05, 2008, 07:05:55 pm nice solutions pebri86.. K+
Title: Re: no menus Post by: keaglez on May 06, 2008, 03:34:39 am Actually...if u can telnet, u dont need to master reset or master clear... Just:
# rm -f /ezx_user/download/appwrite/am/UserMenuTree # reboot Title: Re: no menus Post by: pebri86 on May 07, 2008, 06:47:35 am I have other solution if you can't telnet through USBnet...
U need to install EZXterm.. http://www.e2mod.com/content/view/254/28/ just telnet using that software to do masterreset/masterclear like i said before.. or do the command that Keaglez said... Title: Re: no menus Post by: mama on October 08, 2008, 05:16:52 am I have same proplem but I flash it and then work 100%
