Moto Hell - The Motorola Modding Community

Hi… This is the second version of Titanium Extreme. It is dedicated to English and Spanish users (the name and language of extra applications are automatically adapted to English or Spanish language). There are two versions, the standard one and other with kaledoiscope. At the end of the post there are published all language pack, only for Titanium Xtreme II

The main advantages are:

• It doesn’t  block the phone for any company
• Incremented speed and stability
• Automatically mounts swap and ext3 when SD is inserted
• Possibility to use the telephone without the SIM card
• Skins can be loaded in SD
• The music is played smoothly. There are not annoying clips
• Correction of media player. Now it is possible to see all type of signs!!! It has also a softer displacement in the menus
• You can use the radio without earphones!!
• APMD’s that are in my favor are mounted automatically at the beginning (you should rename it to apmd)
• Synchronization with Motorola Phone Tools
• Reading of messages
• Some aplications were corrected and modified like SD manager, Lights control, Load SD skin.
• Intel Xcale tool to make real-time underclocking/overclocking
• Corrected the separator in the adressbook when it orders for last name
• Application to rename pictures with graphic menu (fotoren). It changes the name of the moto_ * picture to the following form: yyyy-mm-dd_hh.mm.ss.jpg
• Camera with zoom up to 8x
• Tap writing method improved
• Incremented volume
• The low battery annoying sound were replaced with a vibration
• ilove3d Kernel v1 (ext2 and ext3 support, multiple keypress)
• Utilities (PhoneWareManager, System Info, Intel Xscale, SD Manager, LoadSDskin, Desktop visuals, Lights control, Refresh phone, Reboot, Fotoren, LinkSYS, BootGreetings, Print screen, EFEM)
• Possibility to change the voice commands easily!!! You should put on the file "command" that is in this download, inside the folder my_favor. You can edit the “command” file whit notepad ++ (included too) and change what the man says
• Possibility to enable/disable that alarm clock sounds in all the profiles (you should put on the file "alarm" in the folder my_favor)... Important: see PS
• The brightness isn’t modified when you makes overcloking/underclocking
• Stock bootimage

Credits to ilove3d for their so valuable contribution (extreme 2 fw) and to vanhieumai for the utilities translation to English.

PD: in certain occasions the activation of the alarm in all the profiles might cause instability in the clock (it advances one hour). You can try this useful function and then if you notice some problem with the clock you could disable it deleting the "alarm" file in my_favor folder. If in previous fw there were not inconveniences, you could install it without problem.

Why I can't download TITANIUM EXTREME (WITHOUT KALEIDOSCOPE). When It's 93 Percent It's automatically cancel.   :'( :'( :'(

why when i restore the files in SysDatabase(which contains my sms and stuff like that) and when i open messages it will say phone was not shut down properly and is corrupted bla bla bla and it can't read my sms? -.-"

Is Titanium Xtreme II (BP).shx the same with R564_G_12.01.48P.shx? I just flashed this MP but the BP S/W Version of my phone is still R564_G_12.01.48P w/c came from the previous MP (Ultimate).

i read on motoit168 (iloved3 post) that e2 suport fat32, its only enable linksys and then navigate to mmc/mmca1.
any one knows if it is true ?this mp suport this ?

nop.. this fw using stock LP.. if u want to use AiO Langpack.. check Aio Langpack Thread.. there is Aio Langpack for ROKR Extreme/Titanium Extreme..

okay problem solved after i copied the sysdatabase files for abt 5 times...

but still wondering why is there the thing saying it had corrupted and will ask u to wait while it repair it lol...

the 0024 LP will mess with ur voice command features...

when i press the voice key all i see is a pop up with no words and then it closes withought saying anything -.-"

try changing the skin and you will see the words

yeah yeah.. titanium extreme is extremely buggy, especially the previous release which locked my phone..

the new Titanium is fast and stable...

better than the Ultimate which i was using if i may add...

but it still have some bugs to clear out... ;)

It's a bug in Kaleidoscope, it isn't a bug from this firmware.

Hi NightStalker1993... to see words in hide HideFolders you need to change to other skin (revolution, alkali or other) and then RESTART to refresh same paremeters. OP skin have same fonts colour that are equal to background colour so you don't see any word...

If anyone is interested in modding skins could fix this modding colour of the fonts in common.ini file (unknown/my_skin/skin/default1). This file need to be modified with notepad++. Coluours are in decimal format so you need this aplication to know the colour number Quick Number Base Converter 1.3 (http://www.4shared.com/file/39768678/580b4ff5/Quick_Number_Base_Converter_13.html)

You won't be able to have voice commands because for chinese language you need to change same libraries in the fw

the 0024 lp on E2mod worked last time but cg36(i think) also overwrites the built in games and applications which happened to me when i changed the LP while flashing an MP last time...

when i wanna to open phoneware manager i see this information '' Numbers should be equal in each line PHONE:4,4,4,4,4,.. MMCA1:3,2,2,2,2,2... program quit without doing anything'' what can ? do???

sorry NightStalker1993... i could be a language problem. perhaps the fw don't support chinesse. i only prove english and spanish language. and now i haven´t got my e2 to give you a solution with HideFolder.

To activate chinese voice commands i  have to do a patch but you'll have to wait because i haven't got much free time



Try deleting .system folder in your sd card. it seems to be a incompatiblily. you'll lose all sd aplications if you delete this folder but it might solve your problem

This problem is also in LP 0021 too.

Is it safe to flash the Nav_OK-by-music kernel by afsim on top of Titanium Xtreme II? Won't the kernel overwrite any essential Code Groups that this firmware needs to function properly? Thanks.

For the autorun problem, maybe u can check the autorun.txt or maybe first.txt/startup_test.txt or anything similar... :)

I got the same GPRS problem,...trying to load google page and it says bad request...every time
I thought it was problem of my network..then I find out no it's not...

and while creating MMS ...my network limit is 100KB...but when i try to creat MMS in restriction free mode...it shouts that mms is more than 50KB and it can't be sent....blah blah....even If I click ok...it come back with same prompt over and over again...any suggestion........??????

 delete all of your data account and make new data account but don't fill anything except account name and csd number...
Second,,
 try to connect internet with default browser.
It wouldn't connect,,
but don't worry
Third,,
make new data account of your isp but don't fill proxy and port
Fourth,,
delete opera.ini which located on ezxlocal/download/browser/opera
The last but not least,,
Reboot your phone ;)

Hmm? Whats ur problem? To delete, just use "rm" command... :)

same . no help...though I can use OPera Mini...but that is slow in loading and using than the built in one...and more over I can't use more than one windows simultaneously and save pages...
I tried to do a full flash....
then ask my operator for internet settings...They sent me a system update notification with their profile
I used the same profile before for browsing the web
even this profile is used to browse wit opera mini

im posting this post just becuz im gonna ask ya all about the first released titanium FW...i'd flashed MY E2 with tht FW..and then my phone was dead (kimak...syall nye FW!!!) after the battery finished without any notification or somewhat..everytime i  put the damn usb cable the bootloader  keep saying BP NOT READY..luckily my 'brightstar distribution' warranty still valid..

1st warranty : flashed with XXXX FW (cant remember which one)
2nd     ''       : flashed with titanium FW   (2 kali rosak dhooo..nyesal aku flash)

good news i got new board/chipset (but old housing) with 35p FW for the 2nd warranty...

hey mate. sounds like u from malaysia.. ermm so are u regret to have ROKR E2, try to use others FW, like Only You series or ROKR xtreme.. it suitable for malaysian users..
now im using this FW ROKR TX II, i just have one problem.. cannot browse the internet.. all the thing, i satisfied for this FW. hope someone can fix that problem..

the problem is same..

browse internet use the latest Opera Mini version...

damn cool can fiew the whole thing like on ur pc and given a virtual mouse,can view in widescreen and fullscreen lol...

problem is loading a page costs more than the normal type but u can change the setting to mobile view for the older style opera mini type of viewing page hehe...

But you all miss something very important. You can not download anything with opera mini. It opens the phones browser for downloading and all you get is a "bad request " error. The native opera needs to be fixed. O.Mini is not an alternative for downloading.

Opera mini mod can open multiple pages,save pages and download stuff without the need to open default browser :P

hi guys, i was with only you FW till the day that my sms didnt worked anymore, now i'm with this TX II , it's very nice but i dont know if it is the buggy winxp or my phone that do not connect via telnet anymore.
all drivers set and it was working before the last reflash!

if anyone have a sollution please let me know!

after passing flash when i flash 0020 LP the phone passes it but freezes at hello moto screen even after removing battery and inserting it back... help ?

hey sa3dod did you solve the problem?  sounds like you have the same problem i had a few months ago.  my phone would only turn on when its being charged and it would freeze at the hello moto.  i couldnt access bootloader either.  turned out my battery ran out while i flashed and it wouldnt charge unless the phone fully turned on.  i bought a new battery and reflashed to TX II.
