But I have some problems:
- can't change mma_ucp
- can't change iTunes skin

@whell
it caused patch mma in skin. the advantage of this patch is you can use any skin with different menu structur.
but u cant edit it by phone.
here that must u do in order to change mma
1.chose moto aprilia skin
2.edit home screen in personalise also the security.
3.copy mma from a/mobile/system to PC
4.then edit using MMaAdvance editor.
5.put the mma that u edit to each skin folder in c.

this the menu order of each skin.
1.Moto Aprilia (default as standar 12 icon)
2.MoloUltimate (same with moto aprilia,doesnt need change)
3.E1_Walkman (dial,web,games,multi,messge,iTunes,ringstyle,phonebok,short,security,tool,settin)
4.milk(phnbk,mess,dial,sett,games,multime,web,tool,ring,sec,short,conn)
5.iCarbon&An_walkman(tool,sett,multi,web,games,camera,mess,short,dial,phonebok,connec,phonestatus)

-this patch allow a skin to read mma in his skin folder first, if can't found the skin will read the default in a/mobile/system
-Yes, you don't need, just upload new skin together with the mma. Recomended u use mma ucp from your phone in a/mobile/system then edit only the main menu use MMaAdvEditr. Use p2kTool or p2kC to upload new skin.
-I'm so sorry, my ROKR have been downgrade, so I can't make for E1 :(
-To convert, Hope somebody can make it then share to us.

Do u read my post for wheller n lyldans?
To change the home key, or the lock application you need to use moto aprilia skin then change all setting depend what u want.
After that, copy mma on a/mobile/system to your PC. copy to 4 different folder. then edit each mma ucp to match with each skin.
You can see my post to know every skin menu structure.
After you finish edited, replace every mma on each skin with you have edited.
Note; you only need add mma to E1_walkman,milk,iCarbon,An_walkman.

I just have a doubt: when the cell is running a java app the display light turn off after some seconds and i dont want that.... I´ve already applied the patches "abolish control illumination by java UNDO" , "klava off (Kjava)13_UNDO" and "screen off (Kjava)11_UNDO" but it couldn´t work... can u or somebody help-me?
Sorry for my bad English..i´m a Brazilian guy...

You only need applied abolish control by ilumination java_UNDO from MP folder
Don't applied undo patch that I didn't applied the patch to my MP (I don't use kjava off or screen off)
So you only need applied abolish control by ilumination java_UNDO from my MP undo patch folder to make the display always on in java.
But, if u use light.elf u need to deativated it.

But, too bad he doesn't want publish this.

@ary, u can change ur DSP for ur phone 4 changing its sound taste. And decide which one that suit ur taste!

maybe you can edit gaintable too

but remember, you can used DSP software from same type firmware only (if you want to use DSP from 49R, you have to use FW 49R too), never use DSP from different firmware.

Yup, P_41_JO is right. You can only use DSP from same type firmware.
But don`t worry, you can edit DSP from other type firmware to suit the firmware that you are using now. Just edit the first four offsets of the DSP using Hex editor. Make those offsets have the same values as the values of the DSP that you are using :)

other way, u can use ur favorit DSP than edit the GT PT using synerjy tool, motosound or p2ktool.

a different of an MP not only seen from the skins or DRM, if we call it an MP, cause it is Monster Pack (a pack), it's should be completely different, from CG1 to another CGs, not just renaming the flex or mix and match only.
i think you should ask him for a permit , i think he have a purpose not to publish it on here or on another forums.

have you mark it by pressing "0" button before copying??if you didn't, mark the files you want to copy to other media, then press menu, you'll find "copy/send/move marked files"

Yes, prees "0" to mark the file that u want to copy, delete or move.
It's for safety and make u sure what u do.

Vanshy, u can patch ur skin's clock using SkiMan.
U can set it to transparent, shown, or hidden.

thanks man, i dont know that... i'll try it... i'm testing the walkman edition and i have a strange situations..
1.when i change the up down, etc keys... in the menu i got a item with a different type of icon... specificly "security"
2.clock stuff.. i'll try the solution in last post
3. the itunes dont have much options like setting, skins, and other stuff and sometimes when i got the album art maximized the itunes goes crazy in menus =(
4. after using iTunes a play button stays on top, I used kill java options but still there until reboot
... I have to sleep now, tomorrow gonna check and study it more...

I think this MP use patch mma in skin. So u only able to change the home screen setting use MMA adv editor.

I add the one who's with the NaN0_3nGiNe49R - iTunes_4.53Pro™_Series- and... well i got other strange stuff happening on my phone... i was adding some music to the phone and suddenly y got a error.... maybe the file but no other can be uploaded (strange) I deleted the new ones and upload the one's with the problem... "voi la" works... but... error again, and the two times I  checked the number of files... 122 I Cant have more than 122 music files on the phone =(
Can someone please check this... I take it out and install it again and same problem... for me the modded iTunes has un/limited 1000 or 10000 files. So please people can u check this please... I googled it but nothin' about the limit of files...

Yep man I'm using winamp to upload the mp3 with album art and works pretty well... when I have around 122 files, the little window of winamp change the status for a error message, and it said is unknow... but, when i erased some files i got like 115 i can continue uploadin' few of the files that before has error.  So I'm assuming' that's its a kinda of limit in the iTunes, so please check it out. Tnks for answer me.  Sorry my bad english!!!!
P.D.: like the MP just few thinks, good work!!!!!

try to use another versions of itunes, for example, like itunes i'm using now, you can grab it on my esnips, it can access more than 400 songs perfectly, and even create DB without any trouble.

if you success, then , it's true, it's the itunes limitation.

Fast Data access means transfer using data cable...that mean no need speed up video

if you please, would you do a test, to  copy same number and same file, same FW too, but just different Flex, the optimized and unoptimized ones, is it really faster??how faster??

Hellomoto is about lock.elf u can replace with other sound or remove lock.elf from auto.run list. See the bonus folder inside this MP. :-D

Speed access on multimedia mean in load for sounds or pictures, I never use data kable for transfering data PC to TF (always use card reader) so I don't know if the effect will be like that.

Bugs reported : phone will be freeze if u take video capture using 2X camera keypad
But it normal if u take video using multimedia>video camera or use ordinary shortcut (exp:Menu+10)
I dont know why it happen (may be crash in patch address) :O
So, Undo the patch or don't push camera keypad 2X

Normally, the display light will automatic turn off when charging..i have the same problem before now...it coz i used not original charger...and then i used light display application from elf...but my phone becomes dead...and now i use the original charger, perfect..! It works...:-)

One question.
Why when use loudspeaker 4 music the vibre fell too harder?
But it doesn't happen in ring style vibre.

it cause vibe on music was caused by the music, but on ring style, it produced by the vibe.mp3 files.

to solve it you can reduce the param table, but increase the amplitude of the vibe.mp3 files using audio editor.

Hi Motofans, i just updated this mp and it's great, but i still have a problem with the "Go to next song using headset key" patch. When i have my headphones on, it just begins to fast forward and i dont know why, i think it's because of that patch, do you know how can i undo it? or do you have any idea why this happens?

Hi Guy...I using orginal battery too, I m not really sure how long battery save on this MP, but I ussualy using Yahoo Messengger (status online and active) everyday.....my battery enought just half on day. And when I used another MP before, I feel the same condition, but when I play my music with default param and gain table on this MP, my phone can play more ten MP3 maybe twenty MP3.... :)

I'm hear my music with headset up to 8 hours
(always hear the music when go to school)

May be the baterry life decrease coz the speed and the elf

Try to applied some Patch to save your battery like Illumination instead of the keyboard

Buy new batterry is the best solution :P

hey i have some problem with the mp
when i assign a ringtone it gets disappeared when i restart the phone .. i mean to say the singtone doesnt get assigned whenever i restart the phone .. previously it didnt show my ringtones when i put it in a/mobile/audio .. when i put it in c/mobile/audio then i got the list ... but now when the phone restarts it gets blank .. i need to assign the ringtone again
what to do ??

the mp didnt have itap, so i flashed motohell itap LP
now whenever the typing window comes .. i cannot type anything while the itap option is on. everytime i need to change the entry setup and entry mode to "itap revolution" to type .. it doesn't work for other fonts .. why ??

hey .. i tried to work out according to u Jukli but the ringtone gets deleted after some time and i m unable to hear the incoming call tone.. Is it related to the folder in which ringtones are saved ?? i have saved ringtones in c/audio as if saved in a/ audio they are not seen in the list
i tried the settings for screen saver and they are working but with some modification
i will try deleting the file Ritza said for itap settings
i do have few more errors in the mp

while using the motocommand using the smart key all the files are not shown in the list and some of the elves dont work like the java tools
On minimizing the Itunes while using "Lost" skin the screen becomes blank ( no ffwd or rrwd buttons seen)and it becomes short in length while using "club walkman" skin

Put file in c/mobile/audio
Remove the toneDB use toneDBkiller.elf,p2ktools or iTunes plugin.
If the file doesn't show in ringstyle set. Go to multimedia>sounds.
Set every file to apply as ringtone.
Now, u'll get the sound listed on ringstyle settng.

Motocmd.elf work perfect on my phone. It's can browse all of my files.
(1GB TF with 600's files)

Do u really know what the function and how to use javatools?
AFAIK it's work with java fullscreen patch.
And u need some setting on java setting.
I doesn't use this elf.

Bout minimize the iTunes, the function of the button still work, that's just bout the skinning, u can edit the skin with s4m so the forward,backward, etc can see when minimize.
Java heap 1496 doesn't work with increase list suite patch.

Sorry I can't help much on iTap.
But u can add the iTap by yourself, use MLE to do this.
(I doesn't use iTap coz it's make slow on write SMS, especially when hearing music with Tunes.elf or iTunes)

Hey all,
I just found out that vibe sync does not turn off, even if it says off in the initial files menu. I can't listen to music at full volume with vibe sync because the phone will make harsh noises. can someone please tell me how to turn this off?

That coz the param table,
I'm edit the param table.
See the value of bass off, common param table set to 248, but mine 234.
234 have bigger vibe, even vibe sync set off.
U can back set the value to 248 or use other param table.

Sorry can't give detail step.
Open the LP using MLE.
In tab font, find ID where the multifont located.
Save the font file (*.mff)
Then open your LP, load the mff file to your LP.

About install apps
Read the instruction.
Bfore the progress,
you must delete IMEI number folder in your TF first.

Ok, my phone is broken so I ended up with a moto e398. It's a really nice phone, I must say. So I flashed it already a few times, revived it as well. So to the question - these megapacks - there are two versions - for e398 and for pokr. If I haven't flashed it to pokr will my phone flash it automatically, or I will have to flash it first to pokr and then use the megapack. I'm asking this because the first method doesn't work for me. When I flash from e398, using a megapack(i tried quite a few) everything goes smooth, but when I try to turn my phone on only a deaden crackle appears but the phone doesn't turn on.

Edit: Actually I tried to flash with megapack after flashing with 42R for all, but the phone still can't be switched on. I force boot with holding down * and # and run the backups or flashing again to 42R for all, but I can't go anywhere from this point on. I searched for the problem on the site, but it seems that noone has had this problem but me. So does anyone have a solution for this? I will be very thankful.

p.s: I use this thread because I want this megapack(actually most of them would work for me), hope the thread starter doesn't mind.

E398 version means for E398/ROKR with boot loader 07.D0
ROKR version is for ROKR with boot loader 0A.02

Try restore your full backup first,
After your phone can turn on again, start the flashing again.

I usually upgrade my E398 from R372 to R373
with this step
1.Flash 42R for all cG7 only (don't turn on the phone, keep it in boot loader menu)
2.Flash any MP for E398

If didn't work
1.Flash 42R for all Full Flash
2.Flash any MP for E398
3.Restore your PDS backup

Don't forget to create 32MB full backup, PDS and BootLoader backup.

Ok, first - thank you for the explanation about the bootloaders, I didn't think in that way. It was my bad. Second - I flashed just as you said and everything worked great. Then I backed-up the PDS and when I turned my phone on the logo shows up, then fades out, followed by white flashing screen. I searched in the forum and found two threads about this problem, but couldn't find replies to clear thing out for me.  I'm currently flashing again to 42r and I will then flash with an MP. However, because of the PDS problem I can't exploit my phone fully. Can you give a solution for this problem? Thanks in advise and again sorry for posting offtopics in this thread.

No, still the same result. And I've used only your MP so far. One more question - my PC detects the phone BT and connects with the phone. It still shows that the address is FFFFFFFF, though. I can upload and download images. Nevertheless, I can't see them in the phone. I mean I can see the file, but can't open it. Is this because of the PDS and is restoring the PDS a must-do? And one more question - when I connect my PC to the phone through BT I see the files and folders on the phone only. How to access the memory card? Thanks again.

Restore your PDS or fix your BT address.
I never connect to PC throught bluetooth, may be that just setting like in p2kTools how the program read the data, from a/, b/ or c/

Thats caused AP skins patch.
To completely delete skin, u need to delete sub folder first,
c/mobile/skins/name skin/player/audio & video
than the player folder
tHe last is delete the skin.
Use motoCmd.elf to delete the skin, it's fast and easy. ;)

i got little bug on taking pictures.. when in camera.. buttons wrongly shows "my music"(left softkey) and "messages"(right softkey).. instead of back and capture.. these just shows after actually capturing.. instead of store and disregard..

About the bugs, that caused AP Skin patch u can undo that.
But for me, i don't mind about that.

Phonebook is on the CG2 (Flex). So if you flash it, it will erased. Did you make backup before flashing?

Yes, Packpunk right, your personal data will lost if you flash the CG2 from new MP.
Before flash a MP, you need backup your phonebook and restore after flash the MP.
U can use moto data recovery, p2ktools, MPT etc to do that.

No ,I didn't make backup. So now my numbers are delete and cannot be restored RIGHT. I think it happen, because my previous MP was Maneesh's XClear R373_G_0E.30.46R and when I move to 49R, the numbers were erased?

No, it's not caused by 46R to 49R. But your phonebook, sms will always erased when you flash MP except you stored in SIM card.

I never had any problems on flashing an MP to my E398. I don't know why my phone was dead after flashing Walkman New 2905 :(

The MP is great,but I have a small problem.My RhytmLights are working when they want,most of the time they are not workng?How to fix it.They are very fun :D

Our moto had a sensor for controlling lightning.
Lightning of rhytmic lights and keypad lighting.
So they not lighting when they want,but they will lighting when they are in the darkest place,if you are under the sun of afternoon,they will automatically unlightened.

Yep,but i tested the rhytmlights at the same place...with the original software they were working,now they works when someone is calling me,not from the noise around the phone ;\

Pattern        : Rhytmic
Time             : what ever

Still the same ;\ I dont mean only Rhytmic pattern I mean all the patterns are not working
Edit:Just flashed Elagance MP and they are working properly now but the flash is not working :)

in my e398 all patern is ok,ring light ok,event light ok,keypad light is ok,they work fine.

Replace funlight.pat to your favourite one.

Ok, the last one is the best. The battery consumtion is better and more stable than before. I'll wait for the undo patch.

awesome MP, i have flashed, and its great, it´s really fast.
it's different looks menu in every skins, so nice for me.
but it's not really stabil in my moto :
- in some skin can't access audio n picture in phone memory
- cant access internet
- no sound start up and shut down

I think it's ok to use fb 2.
If you want to use fb 3.
Open it,choose write data tab.
Browse the MP you want.
And click write.

@bionick, restart manually the phone after finished flashing. I can connect internet, I use my phone to post this answer. U need to volume up your keypad sound.

No, my MP doesn't put itunes.dat in drive a/
The MP that automatic sent sms is Dream@UnlimitedMoto by masta oniech.

But, U can delete itunes.dat in a/ to remove SMS alarm.

Or u can try,
After flash walkman 2905.
U can try flash only CG1 from nano GO!
Flash using FB3 and check only CG1.
U will need to re generate java j2mest.
Reinstall your java apps.
Hope its work.

Im forget that GO run elf from c.
Better if u try flash CG1 from NaNO 3nGiNe[MAX].
Before flash the CG1 u need to delete all of your java application.
Menu>Setting>Java setting>Delete All Apps.

1) Tunes_LRC = when run, it displays a msg saying cannot read the file and starts playing in the background and i observed there is no option to change skin.

2) The walkman skins menu ss a chaos .. How to fix it?

3) This is a noob question.... How to add new elf? How to delete an elf?.. Can someone explain step by step... please !! I read the ELF application and topic but got confused :-(

1. Tunes_lrc is based Tunes 2.9.5 so it's not support skin.
2. U need use original walkman skin without edited.
3. Copy elf application to any drive or TF. But I recomended in c/elf
Add your new elf in Elf runner List, so the elf will be ready to run.

1.When no lyrics file exist, Tunes lrc will automatically run in bg. U need put lyrics file.
2. U can grab the skin from previous walkman MP.
3. Put any elf in any drive, go to elf runner, press menu button>all files choose your new elf than press install.
4. Use synergy tools, in other function.
5. Use moto bootscreen replacer.

I could not get the low battery sound to turn off in synerj tools - other functions - misc - "battery low sound"

the day and date option no more appears on the main screen... i tried running date.elf but still no help.

I reflashed your MP and still can't get the Battery low sound to turn off through synergy tools..

go to other functions>misc
un"X" (unchecked) the battery low sound than press SAVE.
restart ur phone.
check again that battery low should be un"X"

I unchecked -> saved -> restarted -> yes it is un"X" but still that girl saya "not enough energy" :-)

1. go to c/mobile/skins
2. make a folder (skin name)
3. back to folder with skin files
4. select all (press 0)
5. copy
6. paste in c/mobile/skins/(skin_name)folder
7. restart phone

but if you want skin in mei you need change elfinstaller.ini c/mobile/skins

@zdune, the *.ski file should be together with *.dat file.
The differences skin.elf and elf installer is we doesn't need to zip skin file.
@bionick, of course nothing happen after run extmgr. It just back to homescreen. :)
But after run it u can use motocmd plugin, exp: open jpg, mp3, m4a, apply patch, read txt, install skin, etc.
Or add extmgr to auto.run
If u read my elf instruction u will understand what I mean. :)

oh right, just open distraction.ski file by motocmd ;)

Which flash file i use, for e398 or rokr e1. Im using now nano walkman and i want to upgrade it to motolover mp. but there are 2 flash file available. may fone is originally e398 modded to rokr e1 using nano walkman.. thanks in advance..

shutdown your phone.. press and hold (*) + (#) + (red button).. then you`ll see your bootloader..
if shown 07.DO, flash with 07.DO mp,
if shown OA.02, flash with OA.02 mp..
do backup b4 flashing.. :)

I use this monsterpack and it is quite light and nice, I think.
Anyway, last night, my battery is lost so the phone is off and now I can not charge the battery...  :(
Sadly, I do not have desktop battery charger.
I do not know why, bu I think this monster pack do not have facility to charge when the phone is in OFF condition.
Am I correct? Please correct me if I am wrong.

i have a trouble here. i use nano walkman, then i restore my phonebook backup and i make full backup with FB307, but then, when i using java, i cant "suspend" it with pressing red button ( it make my phone restart ) and if i charge my phone in OFF condition, i dont know why the mp3 player ( not sure wich one ) is active automatically ( just a sound of music, the phone still off ).and about patch 1000kb MMS, it still not work coz if i receive a MMS over 100kb, it says "exceed maximum download size." any idea from masta??

About the MMS 100kb patch u need to edit seem, but I forget the addres...
After edit seem don't change any setting in MMS setup
If stiil unwork, run saveas.elf
Hope it's work coz I never receive MMS bigger than 30kb. :)

ritza, I must to say that your MP is the best one so far.
I still used Nano_walkman (2905), I like everything there. especially MotoCMD, very good application. For NaNO_MotoLOverZZ[DUA], I not really like interface in desktop.
by the way.... where I can find collection icon for drm and sms (icon receive/sending message)?!
I wanna change n mix drm icon with MotoCMD of course. it so fun.... ;)

1.Open FB 3
2.Click firmwares tab
3.Open MP(whatever)
4.Delete all except DRM graphic n RAMDLD.
5.Replace DRM graphic with .shx file that you need for port to get the icons
6.Choose save in .smg format
7.Open DRMport and exract the DRMgraphic.smg in it

thats right advice from jazz,u can use tool drmport too.
Jazz i think MP can be open directly with drmport will be run jazz.
not need to delete another Cg. :)

Did u go to sound using shortcut 0+#?
Press # will unload screener, u must know that :)
Go to multimedia>Musics>sound the screener will work.

Run File changer, select gain table that u want to apply.
If you see success, reboot your phone
try other your own GT, may be you'll fell the difference
Also check using synergy tools before and after appliying using File Change to make sure

No, u can't use EP2 in this FW except UNDO EP1 first coz the addres of the patch. CMIIW

To make it work,you must to change your EP1 start addr.
As far as i know,it's mean you must to rebuild your EP1.

I just downloaded and flashed the NaNO MotoloverZZ [BORNeo] (bl: 07.d0) MP on my e398

Im coming across a problem where i can't seem to unlock the keypad. If it locks, i just can't get the damn thing to unlock.

The instruction inside the .rar says:

- Phone Unlock Code: 1234
- Phone Security Code: 000000
- Menu+Red to lock keypad


Now im pressing the middle button and the red button (the turn off button). I been trying all night and nothing is working. I just have to keep taking battery out and in everytime i need to use it.

Either i need change the keypad or am i doing something wrong??

I tried other mp's and they worked perfect but its when i have to press Menu and red button. (menu being the middle button near the screen - not the joystick and the red button being the off button).

Any help would be good

Hi esa . I've test it again. it can't not add to SIM. I try to change some setting : language font , del some eft , ... and i reflash it. Everything okey after reflash. When I change skin White  ( 've packed in this MP) and I can't not add contact again  :P   . Final I change to LOST Skin , tFog and Bunglon ,  and It work fine. ^^ May be there are some error with the White skin?

Open the gain table using Moto Sound (download from e398mod)
Edit voice call for speaker (or something like that, i'm forget) to Increase the value.

You can easily change to other GT using File Changer
Open File Changer>choose your GT>press menu button>Select Apply
It will say "SUCCESS" if work, than restart your phone

but IMO reading Latin font for Holy Quran Recitation is not good.
It will make some people like me (that still learning Arabish) will lazy to read Holy Quran (prefer the Latin recitation)

why every storing new phone number into SIM card or phone, the phone will not respond. so i must open the battery and install it again
