Title: Re: somebody attacked our server
Post by: Exploited on February 20, 2008, 10:55:37 am
it's a dedicated server from 1and1 (theplanet.com)... He cannot do it from home, because he do not have enough bandwidth, so he use his (or probably someone else infected) server to attack. I am not sure if it is just my server under attack (hopefully not) or there are many others. Anyway I hope it's history now

mod_unique_id apache module problem. When Apache attempt to automatically restart itself (graceful restart) it fails because misconfiguration in that module... It was very hard to find, because I was unable to reproduce that by starting apache manually.... AAAGHHH

edit: Thanks for the fast response of First Colo GmbH (first-colo.de):

Hello,

we are sorry but the system of our Customer is under heavy DDoS Attack.
What you see is the reply of the server to faked packages which floods
the system.
