Yeah,It's Java Linux maybe JUIX.I looked the demos of E8 at Youtube and it's really awesome.New innovation for mobile with its morphin keypad.If we play music,the music lights on and number keys are disappeared.I really like it.It's 2 inch in landscape mode so it's widescreen.Internal memory is 2gb and external memory capacity is up to 4gb.

Hey! It can use 4Gb card, right? Than its compatible with micro SDHC, isnt it? If yes, when the source for E8 comes, maybe we can use it for E2!!! Hope so... :)

But the screen size problem will appear if we use E8 source to E2.We will operate E2 menu with landscape mode...:)

ROKR E8 uses MOTOMAGX (better than JUIX ;) )
Anyway, Im seriously thinking of buying that thing on summer,or so, when I collect enough cash :D

They write that the processor is ARM 11 @ 500Mhz, which is totally awesome... The battery is again disappointment (3 days on very light usage maximum), the camera is not very good quality (again for Motorola)... Still a great mobile!

They also point especially that the phone have perfect sound characteristics (made some tests in the middle of the article)

The OS is MotoMagx 7.1 (newest version). I do not know what is good or bad in that os at all. Visually it looks the same as our E2, so I think that the E2 OS is some kind of prototype of MotoMagx :)

the design is weird for me especially the screen.... why moto not put bigger screen?

Sounds great...500 mhz proccessor.It makes me love this phone more.I don't care about the camera coz I never use camera.I only use camera when attach my photo in this forum...:D

This phone looks promising.Hope it will be the next modding after Rokr E2.But we will have difficulty with game compatibility as it's widescreen in landscape mode.The advantage is we have 500 mhz running on the phone.It'll be fast like hell.I already feel the speed of Z6 with 624 mhz then Moto will release A1600 with 700 mhz proccessor.

Screen isn't small though... Still QVGA 240*320 just like E2, Z6 and V8 just turn it landscape :)
I'm definatly looking to get this phone when then the price drops,
But Motorola are said to be releasing new phones with higher cameras.. I think it's 8 Megapixel and a 5 Megapixel, Z10 has 3.2 Megapixel but runs Sybian

The screen is like iPod.It's normal screen.I don't like Symbian.So,I won't choose Z8 or Z10.But the demos of both at Youtube look so tempting.

I guess E8 is using the same processor as V8 and Z6...
Anyway, does it have a GPU?

as far as I see - no GPU, which means again slow 3D java

But,did U see Moto U9 review at Mobile-Review? U9 compared with SE Z610 and U9 won in 3D score..

Also, I read about choosing music phone ATM, and Motorola Z6 in its , and E8 in its category are winners, but motorola doesnt have the phone in some highest category... Its in russian I didnt understand totally :D

I think that the widescreen is a +, not a - :)

With the new Linux Java platform,we'll have some difficulties in modding it.Moto will put some restrictions on this phone just like they did on Z6 and V8.I like the haptics feedback and the fast scroll navigation but the widescreen needs some more times to get used to.

the screen is a - in mobile gaming......

some cool SE models have rotateable screen (automatic rotation, based on how you hold the phone), which is totally cool feature
