Hi

i installed MPKG installer 3.1 on E6, it worked good for skininstaller & busybox.

But when i install MTF installer & Zmplayer, it always shows error "my does not conform to MPKG standard"....

pls help me what to do.????

check the folder installtemp.. if there are any files delete
then try reinstalling the *.mpkg

I used to install mpkg by using SmartAssist..Here is attached.....

yes i installed Smartassit... and then while i use to install any pkg file with it (open with), then it shows eerror:: unknown format, try to edit my ?..


pls guide me how to install any pkg with Smartassit

now I had flashed my E6, but the error is same...

 ERROR :; my doest not conform to MPKG standard..

try to rename *.pkg into *mpkg

renamed the *.pkg to *.mpkg
now it shows to install, but the installation fails with error:: INSTALATION FAILED, PAKAGE INVALID...

so it must be the *.mpkg problem not compatible to your phone

It wasn't configured properly.

then, how can i install various applications...??

pls tell me if there is any other way to install pakages...??

also how can we say all the pakages are not compatible...


now i had 07 DGR8 firmware but the problme is same...

I also installed pkg files manually ( with copying the files, then editing the registry but didnt run )

I'm using A1200.I don't have any problem with installing pkg files.Is your problem only on installing ZMplayer and MTF installer?Have U tried using Superman to install them?It's another installer program.

i wud try to install with superman. Then pls give me the link to download this program.

Also there is some confusion with smartassit that while running Smartassit there is a menu 1 2 3 ...7
1 is for install / manage pkges

But there is no button to select 1st option... then how to install with Smartassit. (there r only 3 butons backup exit & app.  but nothing happens.

Pls give me link to superman & the steps to install via Superman & Smartassit

Tap and hold pkg that U want to install and select open with.Then choose SmartAssist.Run it from file manager.I've ever used Superman to install pkg but I have a difficulty coz all in Chinese.So,I decided to use SmartAssist to install or uninstall pkg files.When U tap SmartAssist on your phone menu,choose run to install and run apps.Choose uninstall to switch to uninstall mode.SmartAssist is a good application coz it can run lin,mtf,delete unneccessary data,backup,etc...

yaar nothing hsppens with Smartassist.....

when i click on open with smartassit.. it says UNKNOWN FORMAT... TRY TO EDIT MY?


my firmware is \E6e_07P_DAG_final

Are U sure ZMPlayer and MTF installer that U downloaded is for E6?
I can't tell U more details coz I have never got this problem.I'm not using E6 but I think it almost has the same application with A1200.

yes i had downloaded the versions for E6, also the error is for various applications not for these 2 only...

may be this is the cause...

Use this system folder.Firstly,backup your system folder to PC.Second,format your TF and place this system folder at the root folder of TF

Although E6 and A1200 have the same application but the firmware is quite different.U can't flash A1200 firmware to E6 and vise versa.Try the system folder I gave and see if everything is working or not.
