i hav a question for all motohell members....

besides modding, why we choose Motorola??  :)

sometimes i'm thinking about it but i cant get the right answer... :(
SE n Nokia even Samsung seems produce better phone... speaker..camera..
but i still want Motorola!! i donno why  :)

Reason? Because i want a phone that easy to customize, a phone with a solid design (only Motorola and Samsung have this), a phone with a beauty design (different than other), a phone with great display, a phone with great sound (and great headset), and all comes to Motorola..!!!

i like Moto's design......cool and special.......i don't like Nokia because the phone still looks fat no matter how thin they are.....i hate SE because most of their phone's design looks same....i hate samsung and LG because they always copy Moto's design....in fact,all of the phone maker copy Moto's design......also....not many are using Moto in my place.....so i just like to be different......

now samsung release a new slide model that included 2 simcard running it.. i think is so cool.. but i dont like sliding :(

Aww...Rauna,I doesn't means all of their phone copy Moto's design...just some of it....

I choose Moto coz Moto is solid than other brands.Look at the design from titanium in V3 with cheap plastic in N95.Moto also produce great music phone since they released E398.First time I bought the phone (in 2004),it's the loudest phone at the moment.When someone was calling me,everyone just stared at me.Moto is also the best innovator.They have introduced every innovations.From touchscreen,slim,3D speakers,etc.

yup e398 got the best stereo speaker. mine got stolen (kene paw) at bus terminal..
e2 got excellent screen...
mini usb port for charging also interested.

most of my family n friends always hav bad thing to talk bout motorola and its damn to defend moto alone  ;D

easy to use, the mini usb connector, no damn unique cables, the easy to customize!

i heard a news that motorola phone exploded and kill someone but i donno when and where. i got this from other forum (post by SE fan).
Is it true? anybody know?

yes it is true....in China....but that is because the phone are exposed in a very hot temperature.......other phone maker such as samsung have their phone exploded too....not just Moto....even IPod have these kind of case.....it's how you treat your phone.....not the phone makers' fault in most cases.....

i think we should find some ways to promote Moto modding....i'm going to promoto it through live TV chat box....cause there are many bored people there....

I promote Moto to my family.My Mom uses K1,My dad uses E398,My sisters use L72,V3x,V3xx,Z3 and V3i.My friends use E1,E398,E6,V6 Maxx,L7,A1200,E1000,etc..E1 is the most influenced.All their phones are modded by me.I like to help them coz they use Moto.If they use other brand,I won't help them....:D

holy moly.... my family was also influenced by me, but with Siemens... until I found the E398 Moto, but they still use their old phones :)

I chose Motorola cause they are reliable phones, (A835 prooved that for me) and after using other phones decided Motorola are the best for style, Reliabilty, and after you google it modding

Most of my family use Motorola (Except my dad :( Samsung G600)

I've thought about switching to LG or Benq-Siemens for a lil while but can't do it, My E398 won't let me

Windows Mobile for Mpx and Q series
Linux Platform for ROKR series and Ming
P2k for RAZR and RIZR
now we have symbian too.. for RIZR Z8

I bought e398 cz it's cheaper than others.....in which we got TF,3D speakerphone,n ori headset...It's no complete phone like that which is offered at that time.....
after compare w/ other my girlfriend use E1rokr so does my elder brother.....

i love moto because its (linux and SOME p2k phones) are cheap but moddable. in other words, cost efficient. other than that, I hate moto. (; moto doesn't listen to consumers. (they WONT release ezx sdk)

anw, razr seems better physically.. is it me or does razr2 seems more bulky than razr v3?

Yep,It's exactly P2K05 just like V6 Maxx and it will be fast like hell...Maybe it's faster than Z6 coz it runs on P2K05 and the processor is 500 mhz.

Hmm... They must be wrong. V8 is Linux but V9 is not. :) I have seen the reviews on TV and V9 interface is same as other p2k05 phone.

The E398 phone got the best sound ever when it was released. That's one of the main reasons why I chose Motorola. From that point I just don't like anything else.

Actually there are much better deals and very cheap phones which have tons of more functions than my E2 for example. I just don't wanna switch it - I don't need anything more! I like it even with the "clock bug" in my current fw LOL :)

Some reason because Motorola is friendly user and good support. another reason, it seems like opensouerce and easier than other branded phones.

If you like to mode it brand, try newest series that has dual on signal.more internal memory and great camera ;)

it's not opensource actually. It's closed source; however easily "hackable"

Yeah, it seems to took a lot of time until a phone can be "more" freely modified thanks to the volunteer developer - at that time though, the phone is already outdated.
