IMO you made lil' modifications on ubackup and should have increased the version number from 0.1 to 0.2, keeping the 'Ubackup' name... that's opensource. Title: Re: [E2] Block The Thief, Advanced Volume Editor and Backup Tools [BETA] Post by: keaglez on December 06, 2007, 03:50:06 pm Hello Keaglez Hi Taurnil,IMO you made lil' modifications on ubackup and should have increased the version number from 0.1 to 0.2, keeping the 'Ubackup' name... that's opensource. Im very sorry, but i cant do that. The reason is, Backup Tools beta is a based mpkg from Ubackup, that doesnt mean i made a modification from Ubackup but i just take the same concept and similar functionality. You can see that the whole script from my Backup Tools beta was different from Ubackup, the structures, styles, commands, also the way to backup and restore is different. Its true if i saw your Ubackup's script when creating my Backup Tools beta, but i created the Backup Tools beta by myself and not taking any part from your script (except for the same backup/restore path)... Hope you understand, thanks...
